"It's Game Time, Noob" Undocumented change and Riot's stance on transparency.

So I've made a second account (this one) for the new season to see the changes first hand on the new player experience, leveling up and BE rewards. I noticed this patch that on the home screen with new accounts the tag "Its game time noob" has been changed to "Its game time" and this change went undocumented after scouring reddit, the boards and anywhere else I could. Nothing. No statement about the backlash and hypocrisy on Riot calling people noobs. While yes, I realize there are two different kinds of noobs, those who are actually new and those who are expirenced but stupid/bad. While Riot was addressing the first there were still people who disagreed with this action. Riot, in recent years, has tried very hard to push this idea of transparancy and an open line of communication with its player base. However this was ignored and I feel wrongly so, as it ruins the trust we, as players, have in Riot. Riot, you guys NEED to take a stand on this and clearly define toxicity, what is and is not ok, where the line is drawn etc. I'm all for friendly and competitive banter, I myself enjoy some trash talk. But 'noob' should not be by that line. With a whole community becoming dead to the likes of 'kys' and much more you REALLY need to put down some guidelines for this and be open about why you make changes such as this so we, as a community, can continue to have faith in you.

So, what I think is more likely is that this campaign was over - and so they reverted to the default home page. Advertising campaigns run their course, and I don't just see the "noob" word gone, the entire campaign doesn't appear for me anymore. It's been about a month (I think) since I first started seeing it, which leads me to believe that it just ran its course.

On your topic of defining a line, they don't want to do that as it is the community that defines what is toxic.

The behavioral system learns from our reports (millions / day) and uses those reports to define the line instead. As example, in KR server, "your mom" jokes are taken much more seriously compared to here in NA. Also, you can get chat restricted in KR for calling someone a "silver", where as NA just typically stops at "Bronze".
