I got hacked and banned

DoubleDuncan - Summoner Stats - League of Legends

So yesterday i visited some websites on the internet, and got some annoying popups and nothing seemed to be wrong. But that evening my brother sent me an image of me playing league of legends, while i was at work. My guess is that they checked the passwords i accidentally saved onto google chrome.

So when i got home I immediately changed my email password and my league password and checked my match history. Some dude had played qiyana (which I hadn't bought yet), probably messed with my inventory and played ranked for 2 games. (I never play ranked) :)

So I went to sleep hoping they logged off and couldn't get into the account. (I had not yet had the chance to log into league launcher.)

So when I woke up this morning, I checked op.gg for my match history. He played some more games, as he was still logged in and had promoted to silver.[sg-zephyr] I logged on to league, with my changed password, and you guess what popped up???

Account banned: this account has been permanently banned for the use of prohibited third party software [sg-ahri-1]

im sad ...

Also Riot clearly points out that: "Remember: we only reconsider penalties that are clearly errors. We don’t give second chances, or take into account who started it."

So even if Riot is able to check to location of the new entry, to confirm that I am not a user of hacks, they wont do anything with it.

Do you guys have any tips, or should I just start all over again?

Riot and their careless support page.

They are experts at giving you a seizure.

If you can prove your account was hacked the punoshment should be reverted. For future reference, the moment you notice suspicious activity on your account contact riot support instead of just going to bed. Better to be preemptive than try to prove it after the fact.

Saving passwords on chrome, using the same password for multiple things, you are a prime example of someone who doesn't give a damn about his internet security. So it was only a matter of time until something like this happened to you.

So this happened to one of my friends. Your account was used to boost a player. so if you go to the match history and look for a duo partner you'll see who it is.
