A mistake?

I joined in a ranked team as a solo player. One of the teamates disconnected while picking champion. Instead of just him being banned in 5 minutes, i (and could be evryone else) got banned in 5 minutes. That is absolutely not fair. Why solo players have to suffer consequenses of other toxic players? I really hope Riot do something because this is unfair.

Did you queue up with the player who DC'ed again, and that is where you saw the 5 minute timer? When you are queued with others, you must wait out their punishment as well if you wish the play with them.

If you were solo, you should file a bug report.
