been playing for a good month now. in the entire month, i've been honored nearly every single game and nobody's complained about my behavior for as long as I can remember. basically, im behaving the same as I did last year so, what's changed?
The most likely explanation is that they saw the numbers from the previous season and modified the requirements for each tier and checkpoint to make progression stretch out longer over the season. Last season, it was easy to max honor in a few months, so a lot of us were just sitting on Honor 5 for over half a year. By slowing the progression, we experience upgrades through a longer portion of the year.
An alternate option would've been adding more tiers, but that would've caused more issues. Psychologically, those at low honor ranks would feel even further removed from the max ranks. Logistically, rewards would have to be reassessed. Do they give honor wards for additional tiers, or pick specific milestone tiers to unlock them?
Keep playing if you want your honor upgrades. They'll come, just at a slower pace this year.
What honor level are you currently? Remember that honor is time gated, so you can only get so high until the next level is unlocked at a later date.
I doubt it. My last checkpoint i got right after coming back from a game i ragequit. U gotta be a real shitter ass to not get honor as it comes out
I'm at h3-2 right now.
There might be someone who is h3-3.
But if you are thinking to be higher than that, then you'd just have to keep playing.
I have multiple accounts and not a single one has gotten to honor 2 checkpoint 1 in spite of consistent honors. Last year I had multiple Honor 4's so I'm very confused.
I'm going with the timelock theory. I'm pretty sure I'm at about the same place honor-wise as last year even though I haven't had as much time to play
