The Most UNJUST Chat Restriction - Riot Skeletor

So this is the breakdown.

After being honor 5 in the beginning of season 8, after an actual fair punishment of me being toxic for a couple games, i lost that honor progress. It was time to #reform myself. Flash forward to present day, I'm working my way back up the honor system. When all of a sudden, out of nowhere, I'm chat restricted. I immediately read through the chat logs. NONE OF THIS WAS PUNISHABLE.

This punishment is extremely important when it comes to the future of League of Legends and important point not only I am bringing up, but many others throughout the community and why it sometimes feels like US v.s. RIOT.

Now I'm going to provide the chat logs in the two games, but hold your horses buddy, it would help to have some context on what happened during these two games.

GAME 1- CHAMP SELECT FIASCO

Now before you read this chat log, here's what went down. Im a jungle main, hardstuck gold and on the summoner name "ebony girl" which also happens to be comedy gold. I got filled into the bot lane role and asked for jungle. After being told our jungler couldn't adc, I told him it was fine, picked Jhin and went to go take a leak. When I returned, we had 2 adcs in the game, no jungler, and no one dodged. Despite this, I still tried to win the game and say things like "GJ" to my teammates, while occasionally trying to explain myself on why I SHOULDN'T be falsely reported. This obviously did not go as planned, as I was falsely reported anyway because I'm being punished now.

GAME 2- AFK TOPLANER

I was jungling (obviously) and I had ganked my poppy and gotten her an early lead.But because I pushed lane after we got a kill against a player who had their TP down, she decided to flame me. Then she started intentionally griefing the game like tping to a ward in lane or flashing randomly and then eventually ragequit. Because of this, AFTER SHE LEFT, I called her a naughty word. "Idiot." Despite her trolling and ruining one of my ranked games. I continued to try and help my teammates to win the game. Heres what happened.

Now at this point you may be asking yourself two things: "why the hell did i read that and why the hell do i care?"

Well that's very fair. But I'm telling you, players like this poppy, and players that were ACTUALLY flaming me in my first game were reported and not punished. WHICH MEANS YOU SHOULD BE VERY WORRIED. Players like me who are on average a very positive and logically approaching player are being punished for "small negativity" (actual riot employees words) rather than player actually griefing and destroying ranked games. Which is a problem I don't stand alone on.

Now here is where things get interesting. You may think to yourself, "ebony girl, this may have been an honest mistake, and maybe you actually DON'T deserve to have your honor progress lost again and have another strike on your account." Well I thought of that too. So I went to talk in a live chat with the Riot Employee "Skeletor," to see if this whole thing was just a misunderstanding.

(now this is a long chat, so I would get comfortable or skip to my conclusion if you aren't interested to hear a rioters opinion on this punishment)

So here's why you should care, and here's what you should do.

You should care because: This was an obvious unjust punishment, and it seemed as if the rioter himself knew it. Now even if its a small punishment compared to a ban, keep in mind none of this is against the summoner code and you can be punished in your games for it too. And that is straight up ridiculous.

What you should do: Email riot, send them this post, start a thread, log onto their website and get on live chat, let them know what you think about punishments like this and why this is so important to the community.

DO NOT LET THEM STEAMROLL US. THERES SO MANY PLAYERS THAT DONT DESERVE THESE PUNISHMENTS BY A SOFT, YELLOW BELLIED SUMMONER CODE.
