Punishment severity in ranked vs normals

I come knowing that toxicity in games is inevitable, in League it's clear that there's a lot less toxicity on a winning team then the losing one. I've been perma banned, suspended, and chat restricted, so I guess i'd consider myself pretty toxic, but from all the chat logs i have been punished for, none were from ranked. This could be proportionate, due to the fact that i have about 500 more normal games than ranked, but it also could be something that makes far more sense, People don't try as hard in normals.

This is where I bring up my argument; players in ranked don't get punished for toxicity because there tends to be alot less afk'ers, inters, trolls, etc... So why should players not be allowed to flame the trolls or the afk'ers or the inters? Don't get me wrong someone could go 0-4 in lane and just be having a bad game but if the game is already decided by that one person feeding the enemy who ends up carrying shouldn't it be justifiable for someone to be mad at that person? Especially in normals, noone should have to sit through 15 minutes + of a grueling game with no chance of winning, it's just un-fun. This is why i propose to allow toxicity in normal games, or at least make punishments less severe in them.

Because it accomplishes literally nothing, at the cost of sapping at team morale and further increasing the likelihood of losing.

Do you mean "for someone to be mad", or "for someone to flame"? Because, one is perfectly allowed to be mad at people, regardless of whether or not it's reasonable anger. What they're not allowed to do is translate that anger into the in-game chat by flaming.

Besides, you basically said what amounts to "don't get me wrong, I know some people can go 0-4 and just be having a bad game, but they really aren't". If you know they're just having a bad game, there's no reason that getting angry at them would be justifiable.

This is why i propose to allow toxicity in normal games, or at least make punishments less severe in them.

No. Toxicity has no place in League. It's disruptive, unnecessary, and does more harm than it does good. As such, the rules apply the same across all matchmade gamemodes - doesn't matter if it's Co-Op Vs. AI, Normals, Ranked, ARAM, or RGMQ, you're not allowed to flame.

It is far from inevitable. It is 100% avoidable, and only takes a little self control to prevent it from becoming a major problem in a game.
