I put a few posts and comments on the topic of refusing to early surrender, and im getting many responses saying they rather throw the game than try. Im curious why and extra 5min is such a waste of time, why you feel so bad about being behind, and why you choose to give up when you dont like something about the match.
What is tilting you guys so much? What makes this game go from fun, to a bad experience?
Tbh these are the type of people where if "they" aren't the ones ahead and carrying they'd rather sit around and be useless and flame then let themselves be carried by someone. Unless the game is 3-35 by 20 minutes nobody below Plat should consider even thinking about not trying, this isn't challenger, people throw all the time. I see alot of people where the game is 5-13 at 15 min and people are spamming me with ff15 like chill out we are 8 kills down.
I belive this is true, they probably compare themselves to high level people in masters and challenger who have to game sense to detrimenie when games are unwinnable. Then you bring that mindset into silver/gold elo and its not applicable, people at this level make even more mistakes so they just have zero tolerece for it..
A lot of people tie their self esteem and pride into how well they do in a video game. It's usually a sign that they haven't accomplished enough IRL and are compensating for their in game performance.
When they start to lose, they take it personally and get angery.

I don't really get tilted, but it's annoying that no one seems to know what Leona's passive is, or proc it, in B5
Because, more often than not, the one hitting no is the one who threw the game because they can't play safe, roam, support or just plain stop from being toxic, because it's not 5 minutes it can be an extra 15 just holding inhib or Nexus towers just waiting for respawn times to get long enough they can brute Force your Nexus down. Just a slow and painful death because of 1 or 2 holding the game hostage, Inhib is down at 18 minutes, the tank is building damage and the Midlaner can't land a skill shot nor survive long enough to try anymore because everyone on the enemy team can one shot, are you telling me I should have to wait 3+ extra minutes just watching the game slowly end while if I decide I don't wanna play and stop trying I get punished? Meanwhile how often have you seen a feeder get punished or a troll? And the most tilting part is a troll is forcing you to play a game and they can, they simply can at the very least they can for 20 minutes, it's no longer fun, it's forced, it's stressful, it's ridiculous and more importantly BORING
Playing it too much instead of in mediation, and playing "for glory" in the words of Smash instead of for fun. Most of the DED GAME LUL types have played multiple games a day for several years and are trying to justify burnout.
Im quite experienced about lol match mechanics. It s easy to understand if match is gone or less.
The matches,that can be won / winnable are different. 90% of games i agree surrender 15/20mins mark and surr fails, our team lose anyway.
Moreover..why denying a surr when your hinibs are going down 10deaths behinf , 5-10k gold behind and team aced?
