How long do checkpoints take?

For starters, I couldn’t find any specific answers like this in other threads. I’m well aware the season ends tonight. Near the beginning of the season, in the first split, I grinded extremely hard from low silver to reach Plat 4 for the first time ever (been playing for 7+ years). After that I was burnt out and didn’t play until about a week ago. I’m on checkpoint 2 of Honor level 1, because somewhere before I stopped playing I either got a chat ban or a ban. I can’t remember what happened.

Anyways, I’ve been playing again about a week now and have really been trying to get honor 2 for the skin. Is there any chance I get there before the deadline tonight? And will I get ANY rewards if I don’t?

ImaQTpie went from H1-0 to H2-0 in 3 weeks. Keep in mind he plays alot, like 10-14 games a day. Maybe even more off stream.

At honor 1, checkpoint 2 you still have 2 checkpoints to go before honor 2 (honor 1.3 and honor 2.0). You will unfortunately not get this by tomorrow, but keep playing and keep being honorable - your honor will NOT reset to 2 automatically, you have to earn it back.

2 weeks normally, depends on how much games you play and how much honors you recieve. Takes me about a month because nobody honors the hard carry master Yi player.

Unfortunately I'd say no. Most of the time a checkpoint/level takes at least a month (of positive play) to go up. And with the end in less than a day you're pretty much out of luck.

Feel like honor progression should be based on ratio. I've never hit Honor 4 in a season, and 1 honor a game isn't really enough to get there it feels like. I get honors as a support, but most of them go to whoever has the highest kill to death on the team, it gets pretty frustrating that I feel like I either have to play carry champs or 500+ games to reach higher honors =(

It's been stated in this forum, that the fastest people have gone up a check point was something around 1 week. I'm assuming that's with a lot of play time.

The reason there are no specific answers is because there's no specific way to climb quickly since everyone's different and it all depends on ones own behavior. Generally speaking as long as you display sportsmanlike behavior you will eventually climb. As for your specific situation I'm afraid it's highly unlikely you'll reach H2 before the deadline tonight, sorry.
