Riot Server Live Maintenance - Entire team drops no loss forgiven?

So my entire team disconnects and the enemy team pushes two towers and full clears our jungle and we get no loss forgiven? How is that fair?

FYI it was clearly the product of the server maintenance, not 4 strangers randomly dc'ing.
In retrospect, I don't see how this isn't a loss forgiven though.
Well, Riot DID leave a notification about their server maintenance.
I wouldn't be surprised if you get low priority queues for being afk kappa
WTF is loss forgiven? I've never seen such a legitimate and fair feature in this game.
