So i am a casual one trick, and i only play blind pick.
I have good games and bad games.
Ever since mastery points have been revealed in the load screen, i have noticed a new level of toxicity whilst playing LOL. It can be very off putting. I really don't see a legitimate reason to display mastery points during loading, as it looks to me just to create more reasons for negativity and flame in a community which already has a surplus of this

We shouldn't be restricted of special features just for reasons like this. Mute/ignore players if their being toxic
As a way to trick your enemy. Having a lot of mastery points may make them think you are good with a champion but you're actually mediocre, while you can surprise the enemy with how good you are using a champion you know how to use well but have low mastery points on.
i havent played blind pick (not including when i've played with a 5 man premade) for years. the last time i played it, i played with someone who i met through a friend who knows i play league so they introduced me to this guy who also plays league thinking we'd hit it off. long story short, the guy was one of the most toxic people i've ever met (telling people to kill themselves, get cancer, etc) and he only invited me to blind pick when we werent playing ranked. if i had to lay a bet, nearly everyone in blind pick is either high af and doesn't care or toxic af.
I might be mistaken but I thought there was a way to toggle that off

What's with people randomly capitalizing entire WORDS for emphasis?
Ive only gotten comments on my mastery. "Ooh next level anivia here" "damn niv, nice mastery"... things like that. I like the mastery. If someones gonna flame me, theyre gonna flame me regardless of my mastery. Dont take it personal. Mute, report, move on like you always have when you get flamed. Just cuz they have a new insult doesnt mean we should get rid of that information. I love seeing it. I didnt realize how many people have like 400k+ mastery. Its interesting to me to see. And it helps me to know not to take chances in lane when im against a panth with 1 million mastery.
