I got a new account and played 11 games on it, 10 games were alright good mostly wins no trolls or flaming, and got honours every game almost, then i play my 11th game and theres this noc thats intent feeding all game, he even said it, and annoying the team with pings, and trying to provoke us, we told him to shut up and some insult ( would hurt a rabbits feelings) for him to stop as did everyone else told him same things, he reports me and i get 14 day ban..... WTH so basically i can troll any game and report people for telling me to play properly? come on riot .... Every other problematic instance in those logs aside (and there were several), hate speech has no place in League.

It earns a 14-ban minimum on the first offense.

The troll did not get you banned. Your decision to engage with him in this manner did.

Spending money doesn’t mean Riot cannot suspend your account

Also it’s your job to control yourself. If you can’t mute that nocturne and move on, this game isn’t for you

From the Instant Feedback System FAQs:

PUNISHMENTS GENERALLY FOLLOW A BASIC ESCALATION PATH:

  • First Offense: 10 Game Chat Restriction
  • Second Offense: 25 Game Chat Restriction
  • Third Offense: Two Week Suspension
  • Fourth Offense: Permanent Suspension

However, it is possible to skip to a Two Week or Permanent suspension based on the severity of the behavior in the game. Excessive negative behavior can result in a Two-Week or Permanent suspension at any time without having a chat restriction on the account.

In your case, it is probably those %%%% words that bumped you up to the immediate 14 day suspension. Riot has a zero tolerance policy towards hate speech. If a word is bad enough that the Board censors it out, it's probably bad enough that it can escalate you up to a ban in the game.

Edit - Also, calling someone a "downie" counts as hate speech as well, as it's a slur based on a mental handicap.

Peoplealways try to use the excuse of "I put money into the game so I shouldn't be punished because I supported riot and I'm the reason they exist and blah and blah and blah..." but those amounts usually span the hundreds or years of spending money. $30? That's your argument for why you should be immune to punishment? That's not even the price of a AAA game.

Let's get into the rest of this then:

  1. Riot doesn't care it you spend money on them, you are still held to the same rules as everyone else.

  2. Your punishment is based on your actions and yours alone, it doesn't matter what noc was doing, it doesn't matter what your team or the enemy team was doing, what matters is what YOU were doing. There's a reason your chat logs are only what you said and not the games chat logs. Which brings me to...

  3. You were toxic. Plain and simple.

Ok, as I understand things, your main account is currently unbanned and the ban happened on a secondary account you started very recently?

My best guess as to the rapid punisment is that new accounts hit punishment triggers faster because there is little-to-no behavioral history. A couple bad games on an account with less than 100 game represents a mich higher percentage of games than a couple bad games on an account with 1,000 games

I believe there is also a cluster factor. In that 1,000-game account string of 4-5 bad games in the most recent set if games is different than 4-5 bad games scattered throughout the history of the account.

If you violate the agreement, things will proceed in the case that it is violated according to the steps outlined in the agreement you made.

You abused functionality of the software, so a temporary suspension was issued as described.
