Returning to the game after 5+ years without playing. Account banned. Need help.

Hi guys,

I tried to return to the game after all of my friends I used to play with began playing it again. I logged into my account after installing to be hit with a ban for third-party software. I have never downloaded third-party software for competitive advantage purposes. There was one program I installed called Ignite (???) to be used for non-premade team voice chat. This was it's only function and was used in place of Skype. The only other 3rd party league of legends programs used were internet websites that tracked stats and gave popular builds. I want to return to the game but cannot justify coming back to the game without all of the in-game content I purchased (skins, lots of skins.)

I submitted a ticket, but tickets are the most useless way for companies to help their consumers. They always return with messages that could be boiled down to "sucks to suck." Is there a live chat I can use to speak to someone who can actually help? Was the voice-chat program considered "prohibited by Riot, and what was it's name (the logo was a tall flame.)

I want to come back to the game, but I am not grinding to 30 again, and I am not losing all the skins that my teenage self felt justified in buying.

To be quite frank, after 5 years so much has changed that I'm not sure they can do much for you. As one example, 5 years ago, jungle timers had not yet been implemented in the game and using third party jungle timers was punishable.

You can contact Support, but given that it's been 5 years since this occurred, you're probably SOL. No, a live chat is not going to get you a different answer in a ticket.

Tickets are the only way to get this resolved.

i dunno i've have a friend get his account resurrected that hadnt played in 7 years. and all his skins etc

honestly man you're on your own for this. everyone on the board is either far left or far right. saying to either get your account back or to say to stay away because of how bad the game is.
