Sick and Tired of Being Flamed

To start, I am NOT the best LoL player by any means. It is totally casual for me but I do like playing it. However, I HATE the shitty attitudes that 9 out of 10 teams I play with have towards not just me, but anyone who they think is less than they are or have caused them to lose.

If you look at my own stats you can see that I am not good, and I will never claim to be, but I am not going to stop playing just because I am not good. Just like anything else practice makes perfect and the more time put into something usually the better you are. For me, I don't really care to be the next Diamond ranked god in LoL or anything like that. But if I want to play ranked then I am going to play ranked, suck or not.

My expectation is that just because I am not the best Warwick or Ekko or Nunu doesn't mean I, or anyone else, deserves to get flamed. I am so sick of seeing players with negative attitudes verbally abusing other team members just because they aren't as good as they are. The in game chat is a HUGE problem for this when you are not Skyping or anything with your team. You can't read your teams minds and know what their expectations are of you. Yes, every team member has an expectation of you not to just play the game but to be the best player that they ever had on their team right out of the gate which is totally bullshit. Top lane wants ganks left and right from jungle 3 minutes into the game. Bottom lane is falling apart because their Support sucks. Well maybe they suck because they are new to the champ, or the game, or just in general need some fucking guidance and help on how to better play!!!! Wouldn't that be better than flaming them and putting them down!? I can only speak for me but in all the team building activities I have done over my 15 year career not one included instructions to 'flame the fuck out of your weakest team mate for whatever reason'. That is NOT motivation for anyone to do better or want to try. And I am sorry, but if am jungle and someone flames me, guess who is NOT getting any help for the rest of the game even if it costs us the game. That is my price for a shitty attitude and I think everyone else should take that stand and maybe that will put a stop to a lot of flaming. (FYI, never piss off your jungler for this reason no matter who they are)

To my final point, Riot needs more serious consequences for people who flame. They claim that the 'system' is designed to help promotive positive attitudes but, if that is the case then why do they have a report button for people who verbally abuse others and have negative attitudes? Any anyone can see that a report button regardless of what it is for AFTER a game is REACTIVE. There is nothing PROACTIVE about it. They need to be more proactive in with this stuff to improve things and have more harsh punishments for people who are flaming others for ANY reason (how about a 3 day ban for first flame offense?)

PS: I have flamed others before, too, no excuses there. But I have NEVER flamed anyone first. The result of a flame EVERY time is a flame back. Then the flames just start exploding. Its a natural reaction. I would only expect this kind of behavior from 5 year olds. Not excuses for ANYONE above that age.

i guess theres players that flame one game and never flame again. when i get quitters in my game i still have the humility to relax and not flame but i know theres someone that is going to troll back and never fix the flame problem. i dont know what to say except prevent flames and test yourself to be more patient. ive been seeing flamers in my games and knew if they saw me in public they wouldnt want to say that to me in real life and hide behind their keyboards to flame. flaming out only confirms they are scared and if they were content with their life they wouldnt be hanging on to flaming like their life depended on it.

Not only if ur not the best Player, but also if you want to try out a new champ like Kayn (ik, that example was already in the text).

In Platinum for example, they mostly expect that your good with that or a certain champ and do good ganks. But if there was a failed gank, they flame you - If you died because you wanted to safe someone, they flame you - If you made a missplay (not on purpose ofc), they flame you. I normaly instamute and block these "Play2Win in a normal game" idiots (sry not sry), but this is just sad. I could understand it if that happened in ranked, but this is just bulls**t and it's not a fun-time for me and some other Players.

I already got a warning from unfair Reports once and I don't want to get something like that again. But yeah, thx kiddos.

No matter what, there are always flamers. But there are still social and mature Players who're just moving along if something went wrong.

And yeah, don't flame back. That most likely will backfire. Muting, blocking and reporting is always one of the best choices you can make. Hope you have more luck with Players in the future.
