So, here's some context on the situation. I played Master Yi in normals, usual stuff. The game after that I find out that I have, apparently, been perma-banned! In that fateful game we had a very, how may I put it, interesting Draven. He flamed me, our support and top GP in all maners of ways, including: stealing cs, ks'ing, "being a r%%%%%", encouraging us to "never play this game again" and there may be some others I am forgetting. I retaliated with some slightly snarky comments but nothing I'd consider to be a personal, racial or phobic insult. Here are the chat lags for which Riot considered my behavior as "extremely inflammatory" :

    • Vodka2287: for real doe (comments on my death, nuff said)

    • Vodka2287: you're t1 before reform
    • Vodka2287: not cool man (comments on Draven insulting our support and me)

    • Vodka2287: meh (answer to Draven's questioning of my engage)

Personally I'd be fine with a day or two ban, I've got other things to do, but the fact this is considered perma-ban worthy is kinda ridiculous to me. You be the judge, because I personally cannot comprehend what was so offensive in here. I guess at the very least you may take this situation as a precautionary tale to never use the chat in League of Legends.

You've had a 14 day ban, correct? On that 14 day ban reform card it CLEARLY says that the next offence will lead to a permanent ban

And your ban is 100% justified. I can only guess what those censored words are (most likely the homophobic slur), but i know that they are 0 tolerance And 0 tolerance words give an instant ban

You used a homophobic slur, which falls under the zero tolerance policy and earns an immediate 14-day ban. If you had any prior punishments this can become an immediate permanent ban.

There is no error or over-aggressive punishment here: this is exactly the expected outcome for this sort of behavior.

Homophobia, racism, and other discriminatory phrases are considered zero-tolerance behavior and have no place in League.

Sorry, this ban was more than warranted.

Also, give me a break. "Hate speech" this, "slur" that. I googled that the original definition was a cigarette.

You know you're grasping at straws to try to help your argument when you google what old timey or foreign definition a word you used has, while the context is quite clear.

This is not deserved at all tbh. Even with the censored word you should not have been punished. Any intelligent human being can see that this is not toxic and is completely acceptable. It is really unfortunate that riot won’t take context into consideration because if they did you would not be punished at all. My advice is to contact support and explain then situation to them thoroughly and hope the remove the ban.
