Why is perma ban a thing

Why is a perma ban a thing. People spend tons of money and can just have all that taken away for being an asshole? Why not just perma mute it would serve the same purpose (excluding feeders). Its fine to temp mute someone but not perma mute makes a lot more sense. Not like 98% of all league games use low if any communication anyway and supposedly the smart pings can communicate anything you wanna communicate. Riot is not the brightest company tbh.

You made one good point here. Whether nor not someone is consistently toxic enough to get permabanned, they still spent a lot of money on the game (most likely). If Riot is gonna permaban someone, they should probably at least refund the money they spent on the game.

If these toxic people can't deal in changing themselves, then it's best to completely remove them. They need a full time-out.

Perma bans are true punishment. If they want to play again they have to start all over and hopefully they will have learned not to be an ass.

How about... and this is going to be a shocking revelation, you just don't be toxic?

I know, I know, crazy.

But it's possible.

Because permanent chat restrictions just lead to people transferring their toxicity to gameplay, which is far worse.

This is a company made by Ryze, Tryndamere, and all the other non-toxic awesome people. Its been decided, chump change ain't worth one's dignity.

Nope I read it properly. Permaban is the best thing in my opinion. Too many people like that exists in this game, and the day that all of them are whipped off the league community will be a day that I will throughly celebrate.

Because just because you spend money in a free to play game doesn't give you the right to be an uneducated spoiled brat.

Riot is basically telling you that nobody has an obligation to put up with your issues.

lol. You people seem to think that because you spend money in games, that it somehow makes you above the rules. Rules are Rules, your follow them, no questions asked. No amount of money can change the fact that YOU were the one being dumb and toxic. You have a brain, use it!

I will post it again similiar.

1.) Don't respond to toxic players (Mute them)

. If you want to talk to a toxic player, do it respectfully, don't threaten reports, just be like "Hey Please stop being a jerk its not helping anyone."

2.) There is a new trend called baiting toxicitiy

Baiting Toxicity is the act of making Throw -Away Accounts, or Smurfs to make good players like I hope most everyone is in League OF Legends say something hateful, then report them.

The Second type of toxicity is the players who don't listen to what their mates say and make them play badly, a good example is when I was forced into a role, I said in Champion Selection screen at least 3 of my games I can think of " I am playing defense on the turret" Instead all the jerks did was push out and out of XP range and because of this I ended up playing horrid I feed because of this and the result I got suspended likely forever from this game.

There are other types of baiting toxicity as well such as running in a persons lane and making it look like you accidently gave a couple of kills to another solo lane on purpose to make them get angry, then apologize in chat just to make yourself look innocent.

Like honestly I agree with Riots "Do not do toxicity back policy" but I wish Riot would wake up and be able to understand toxicity from my point of view with likely thousands of hours played.

Riot Also assumes players are going to reform, no that isn't going to happen.

In reality when a player like myself, or the other guy gets banned from League like forever loses our hard earned work, thousands of hours put into the game, we simply just don't want to play the game anymore, in fact some of us who get banned and baited by toxic players come back being toxic players ourselves because we simply don't care anymore, and the problem with this is Riot themselves allows and encourages other users to keep making accounts, which doesn't solve anything.

http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=2433665 (Check out this old post here to see what I am talking about) Second Post.

And this is why players who are toxic just come back with Smurfs to bait others into being toxic, and so the cycle continues, instead there needs to be a way to break this loop.
