Can we PLEASE, for the lof of god, do something about AFKs in ARAM? I'm so tired of it.

Please let us end the game faster or vote for an earlier surrender or SOMETHING. It's ruining my enjoyment of the games. It makes the matches unnecessarily harder to win, even with the bonus EXP. Not only are tanks overpowered in ARAM, but every time I get an AFK with at least ONE tank in their team, we automatically lose because they can run us over no matter how far ahead we are. We can't catch up even if we go 11/3. But if I got AFK because I don't want to deal with it, I get punished for "not being a good sport." My only option is to stand there and auto a minion once in a while to avoid the AFK warning. Fuck that. I'M SICK OF THIS SHIT, RIOT.

Seems to me like punishing people for going AFK is doing something about it.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Tanks rule in aram, indeed. I think its hilarious when my allies reroll their tanks and bruisers for us to end up with 5 hypercarries, and then we get smashed. Everyone wants to be a carry and deal big damage. They deserve the loss! Its about trying to create a good team comp, not getting your favorite damage dealer thinking you can carry! Sorry, thats my rant. I dont have an afk problem in aram. It doesnt happen that often to me.

Wait... did you say you go afk and just auto a minion every once and a while to avoid punishment? Fucking lame dude. Just play the damn game. I didnt realize you were one of "those" people who decides when a game is unwinnable and stops trying, despite the rest of your team. I hope you get manually reviewed for that at some point.

And let me make a quick connection here in this parenthesis. This is only my opinion but it's a lingering hypothesis. Sometimes the only reason, it seems, that people want to stay in the game is because of the time spent in champion assignment and the time spent waiting for the game to load and the time they took to buy their items and walk to lane, or for the first measly kill they got in the first team fight with early cheese. No regards to for the early "ACE", no regards for our weaker late, nor the fact that they have two scaling tanks and an already-fed carry or their early kill streak MVP. I bet that initial investment is the same psychology behind people sticking to bad decisions. I bet it's not because they're actively invested in believing that they have a chance to win. That is very irksome. because, let's face it, ARAM is an unbalanced mess of a competitive game for a good portion of us, even if the popular trend is to gloss over that tidbit and diminish it with ranks and LPs. If I'm getting bad RNG, I wan to prove myself in that scenario in a fair 5v5. Not lamenting how this AFK warm body could've prevented one of us from getting killed in crucial plays for priority kills to get objectives for a fleeting chance at a comeback.
