AFK in ranked throughout the entire game.

I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place, but I'm gonna give it a try. Not too long ago, I was playing a ranked game where my mid laner was disconnected the whole game. I had a chance to remake but I thought to myself, maybe this player will reconnect? So me and 2 other teammates declined the remake option and continued to play. We ended up losing the game, but here's something that made me a bit angry. I was on a 4 game winning streak, and I was getting 17 lp per game. Seems normal, right? Wrong. When I lost this game because of the afk Katarina, I lost 18 lp. Basically getting punished more for losing even though I played as hard as I could. That just doesn't seem fair to me at all.
