banned for something my friend did

I was at my friends house and I logged in to my account and we were taking turns on playing a match ,and he continued the rest of the game for me after I left his house , I've been banned before and being the unlucky person I am my friend was playing for me on my last chance , you can even check that the game was played on a different laptop to the one I've been playing on for 3-4 years if that's possible , it's pretty sad to come back to a game that I loved years later to find out I've been perma banned, is there a chance that you can ban him instead of me? You can't get unbanned for doing something this toxic, as Riot has no way of knowing it wasn't you. It simply isn't worth their time either. What a friend you have lmao. (You should prolly have a talk with him)

if this is a two week ban, just send a ticket to riot explaining the situation and they'll unban it... and then permaban it for account sharing

  • Your friend is incredibly toxic & had this been their actual account, the ban would be completely justifiable.

  • Account Sharing (whether it was intentional or not) is also against ToS. Never give your password out under ANY circumstance and make sure it's not something a friend would guess.

It's Unfortunate, but there's not a whole lot you can do about this. You're better off either making a new account or moving onto a different game. Regardless of the outcome, I'd seriously consider having a talk with this friend of yours.

Youd need to submit a ticket to rito support and file it under your account being compromised

To the people saying account security is the individuals job; dont get a job in cyber security.

If it wasnt "your friend", your ticket will just get denied.

yikes.. u got banned for that? i be so much more toxic im not even going to lie. this just made me open my eyes that i need to chill because i be cussing people, calling them all kinds of horrible things. im way worse than this. i actually made someone afk because they said i was mean x.x.

my boyfriend got banned for being toxic, he called someone autistic. he got perma banned but he messaged league and they asked him a few questions and he got it unbanned. he had to show league he realised his mistakes and how he was going to change them
