I was unjustly permanently banned

I was permanently banned for negative behavior, while i do a agree that my behavior was unbecoming however a permanent ban on my account seems way to harsh a penalty as it does not allow me any opportunity to reform my behavior at a later date. I was informed by riot employee that my ban was due to "Excessive negative behavior" however aside from these two instances my record has been for the most part clean. (Full disclosure the first incident involved my using a homophobic slur to which i received a 2 week ban which I agreed was merited and the second was a very banal exchange that would normally have led to a chat restriction on any other occasion) I was informed however that at any time our accounts can be escalated to a final warning if the powers that be dictate that someone has made "slurs, hate speech, wishing harm on others, or threatening other players" however I can find no literature in the League of Legends terms of use or the summoner's code to support this. I would also like to add that I tried opening a ticket and resolving this privately with riot however it was never resolved my questions unanswered. The employee rudely ended the ticket without any sort of resolution.

when you received this punishment it stated on your punishment card that ANY NEGATIVE BEHAVIOR would result in your permanent ban

nothing about this seems unjust

Riot has stated multiple times that they're not interested in finding ways for extremely toxic players to keep playing or to keep spending money - they want them to stop playing.

The only way for you to reform is to create a new account.

A permanent ban means Riot gave up on you reforming in a reasonable time frame (possibly ever).

Your record was clean except for the excessive negative behavior. Yeah. That's kinda the problem. Homophobic slurs are not tolerated. You should consider yourself lucky that you got a second chance, even though you blew it.

Other posts in this thread disprove this claim.

Can you clarify what you mean by "rude"? Are we talking "stay banned, you %%%%%% %%%%%% toxic r%%%%% %%%%," which you admit is pretty bad but not so bad that you think anyone should take you to task for it? Or was it more like "no"?

From your match history, I can reasonably infer that your two-week ban was between the end of February and the middle of March. When you received your two-week ban, you were given a specific warning that further misbehavior would result in a perma. You engaged in further misbehavior. What's unjust here?

You got banned once for Homophobic remarks You got banned a second time for being toxic in game And now you got banned for being toxic again I honestly don't see why you're surprised.

It is a WORLDWIDE KNOWN FACT that if you are constantly toxic in League of Legends, you can and will be permanently banned eventually. My brother was in the exact same situation as you are: he got banned once for insulting people in game, then a second time and then a 3rd which was permanent If you valued your account that much, either by the money you put in it, the ELO you were in, or by any other reason, you should have been more mindful of your words everytime you pressed Enter to type. Riot has every right to ban you for extreme toxicity and I'm honestly glad you were. If you like the game still, make another account and start fresh. Prove to yourself, Riot and the community that you should be a part of it Also get real: you won't have your account back. Riot gave you 2 chances to redeem your behaviour and I'm 100% sure that beside the suspensions themselves, you had warnings on your League client several times You were warned. You just chose not to read

This is hilarious, I mean firstly you have gotten warnings and now you are banned. Then you try to get people on your side. Then you try to apply legal principles about crimes (you know the things you get jail or a fine for that can only be issued by the state) that you both have misinterpreted and that can't be applied to a ToS agreement that you have agreed to. You have no rights that apply here, you don't even own the game or any of the content in it even if you paid for it. Just stop it cause you're only making a fool out of yourself. (or don't because this is funny af)

I think it's strange that I've never been unjustly banned and I've been playing since Season 1. 🤔

I am not sure what the complaint is here. You used terrible language, got punished for it, played a low volume of games and repeated bad behavior. I could see if you played 2k games between or something but you have 50 games this season.

Don't you guys find it funny how someone can be banned so easily for something like that but RITO will never ban a troll or inter? That's just bullshit, those who are inting or trolling are ruining the game experience for others way more than someone who is just toxic but at least plays decent and should be the first to be banned.

If you can't watch what you say and treat everyone fairly you shouldn't be on league. Who wants to try their best in the game only for you to make them feel less than because you feel a need to degrade them. I wish we could permanently ban Trump from office. One would think after a two week ban you would have better self control. Clearly that is not the case. Create a new account. Treat people better. Otherwise this is the bed you made so lay in it.

My take on the whole game is as follows.... Pressing the enter button followed by words followed by a second enter button press is probably toxic, and will cause you to lose. Use tact when talking with people and get people to be inspired by your words, not pissed off and wanting to feed or act out of spite. It's basic psychology and people need to stay off the chat function.

It is well known that using zero tolerance language will give you an instant 14 day ban ban, and an instant perma ban if you've already had a 14 day ban Next time, try not to be toxic

StealtNinja4/9/2019, 7:30:09 AM1 votes

Dude its known that once u get a 14 day ban the next thing u do that deserves a punishment it doesnt matter what it is its going to be a permaban Just dont try to fight a multimillion dollar company on something the rules they wrote
