The Tyler1 extension is garbage

The fact that honor is getting extended because the games most popular streamer, a notoriously toxic player, was chat restricted for aggressive language and griefing is mind boggling to me. There are players who were banned for half as much loading out on rewards because Riot would rather protect a prime example of a toxic player.

Or maybe they think a 1 time extension is fair because previously if you had served a chat restrict before a certain period, you got the rewards.

First full year for system, compromise after end date so people don't procrastinate.

Did they say somewhere this has anything at all to do with T1?

To be fair, the blogs at the beginning and mid season used to notify people about the seasonal rewards requirements are kind of low in visibility. People don't even read patch notes, let alone those blogs.

Only when they made the rewards viewable in the profile was when they had such an outcry, and that was done pretty close to the end of season.

So I can see why they would allow an extension. Afterall, this is the first time their seasonal rewards requirements had such high visibility.

Tyler isn't Walt Disney, he doesn't have the sway to rewrite laws or rules, I assure you.

Wow theyre doing that?! Thats awesome. Ive been saying its fucked up the whole time, even though I've never recieved any sort of punishment. I think they finally saw the absurdity of it. Nice. Idk why you gotta connect it to one player being the reason, that seems a bit obsessive and irrational, but hey thats awesome that theyre doing that.

What you don't seem to understand is that Tyler1 plays in an elo you will never reach in your lifetime without buying a boost, and by actually being mad you aren't seeing people punished "like they deserve" is far more malicious and toxic than getting mad at people who underperform.

If it makes you feel better. If they didnt do this change, those 'toxic players' could just get a new account that starts at honor level 2 and then get their rewards
