When i see my friends flame it to tell the person why they made a bad play i all around stop talking in game to not get banned because this has ruined the game and ppl dont even communicate in game anymore so they dont further their ability to get better but instead assume every one is bad but when we communicate some say oh thats toxic cause ur not just saying good job why do we have a mute button but in stead ban everyone permanently plz someone tell my y we are worried more of are feeling than actually playing and having hardcore gaming like this game once was.... i believe thats why ppl are quiting this game in rapid succesion plz tell me im wrong

I mean technically less permas would mean more people currently playing, but not by a large margin (like .006% more people, lol) But you have to remember, the presence of a mute button doesnt nessicerily make it OK to flame.

Its essentially like justifying arson simply because you noticed a fire hydrant right outside my house, or a robbery simply because i left my front door open.

Edit: Also on that .006%, thats ALL permanently banned players, which includes inters. So chat related ones are even less.

You're missing an option:

Toxic players harm growth by driving away people who are put off by the toxic behavior.

If we have security cameras why throw people in jail?

Cz the words "...and report" after muting exists.

If we have bullet proof vests why put people in prison for shooting others?

If I mute someone, how will I know what to report them for to get them banned?

It's yes and no. It's what I'm trying to talk about in the thread i started. There's ALWAYS going to be trolls and general negativity in the game... that's just how the internet is, but we can do our best to create an environment that promotes incentive to adjust the behavior to be more civil.

I'm saying right now that the people who get consistent reports of being a negative presence, (to the point of the chat-bans, suspensions, and perma-bans), should lose the right to get into ranked queues until they go enough time without valid reports against them cross-checked against their honors.

take away something they want and make them earn it back while also not removing their ability to play the game.

I Have a problem with the fact that to be toxic there is no clear definition of it and anyone can say im not gunna listen to someone says what plays to do or that ppl say stupid team they use bot to indicate it and all that ai is set via a standard of what words or response to ppl bullying u during bad games u should get banned in normal games and ive seen time and time a gain dumb ban for even ppl trying to be funny what is toxic behavior everyone has a different opinion on it

I feel like leaving because of the community, not Riots punishment system which is easy to circumvent.

EDIT: Balance team deserves a mention too.

For the same reason we send criminals to jail in spite of Kevlar

If my goal is to win, which it always is, then I rather not mute the person because pings and chat is important for communication if we are going to win the game. One of the things that make me most nagry about people who are being toxic is that they give us a lesser chance of winning. Someone who is constantly wirting in chat doesn't have time to concentrate fully on the game. And bullying one's teammates will not make them play better, the opposite actually. I have learned that when the yasuo main on my team is 0/10/0 and people start flaming him, the the best thing I can do to save the game and actually win is to encourage him. Toxicity makes no-one play better. So if your goal is to win, then you will need self-control and you will need to be proactive. Instead of flaming your teammate for dying, say let's protect this tower. Or let's take the drake. And if you want your teammates to win the game for you instead of going afk or ffing, then encourage them. For we all know what happens when yasuo gets his 0/10/0 phantom dancer power spike. There is no counter

The quantifiable number that RIOT should really be concerned with, is how many players like myself are at the tipping point and about to ditch this game for good?

I've spent at minimum 300 bucks on this game over the years. I am boycotting their shop until it is addressed properly.
