I received a two week ban sometime in September, and am still at honor level 0. This is because I haven't been playing that much since getting unbanned and I doubt I am getting honors when i do play because I never use chat and never carry etc. Am I just sol for ever getting my rewards for this ranked season or if I really try and grind the honor back up? Thanks in advanced.

To climb in honors, you need two things: play, and behavior. For play, players who average 2-3 games per day or so can tend to climb one checkpoint every few weeks or every month or so. If you’re playing less frequently, it will take longer.
It also requires you to have good behavior. Any valid report for any toxicity, even if it isn’t severe or consistent enough to issue another punishment, may slow your honor progress. It’s best to make sure you aren’t using chat negatively at all in game to be sure that even if people report you, it won’t be a valid report.

Season 2019 has ended already, so you won't get rewards for s2019. However, there is plenty of time for you to get back to h2+ for s2020.

Take a year off on that account and your honor should return to normal if you play games without pissing off your teammates.
don't bother with ranked rewards. no matter the season it's all shit. an icon and a skin for a champ that probably has a better one. plus climbing is a pain in the ass. just stay where you are in honor. it's easier to fall than it is to rise
How honor works from knowledge last time I saw meddler talk about someone getting banned.
Once your banned / punished your honor drops to 0 - 1 depending on your honor level (I think if your 5 it goes to 1 if I recall.)
Anyway, afterwards if YOU RECEIVE ANY REPORTS. Your honor progress gets essentially cut in half.
Best thing to do:
Either que for CO-OP for 2 months. Get your honor back.
OR wait for the next season honor reset.
OR make sure ally chat stays OFF. And you receive no reports for any reason whatsoever.
[zombie-nunu-bummed] It's just a shit system all around anyway. You get nothing but keys from orbs. Just stay honor 2.
I got a chat restriction a few months ago and it took me about 2 months to get to honor 2. You just gotta keep at it and don't forget to honor someone every game, because even you don't get honor you still get a little bit from honoring people.
