Behavioral Report Cards

I think it would really be good for the game if we were given frequent updates on our account's status regarding behavioral issues.

As someone who hasn't received behavioral punishment, I am still concerned with this.

I have submitted a ticket requesting account information regarding my report history. I haven't got a response yet because there is a security delay of A MONTH before I can be given that information for some reason. I imagine the report includes other information which could potentially lead to security issues, but I don't think it should be so difficult to get this information.

I had a connection issue this last weekend, and I would not be surprised at all if I got reported for that match. I confirmed with my ISP that there was a service outage in the area that I had no control over. I even have a text confirmation from them in case I need any proof, but I don't often have connection issues so I don't think it would ultimately result in any punishment.

This brought the concern for this back to my mind however.

To my understanding, first punishment for behavioral issues is a fairly light slap on the wrist, .. but a player shouldn't need to receive punishment to know that there is an issue.

Again, this is from the perspective of someone who has been playing for years, and just wants to be informed.

I also think this would be good for players who have had behavioral issues. Regular updates would let them know if they are improving or if they are still behaving in the same way BEFORE they receive further punishment.

I want to be clear that I am talking about a system where the client notifies you if you are being reported, not necessarily that these reports are being validated. It would of course be great if reports could be listed as validated or overturned as well.

This has been a request for years. You're not the first to come forward with this idea. The original post has over 400 upvotes.

I just got punished (chat restriction) for the first time in like 3 years, and this was one of the main things that really made it feel unfair. I had no idea I was really being negative enough to deserve a punishment, and a simple warning would have gotten me to clean up my act. Instead, I lost my season rewards for having a few bad games.

I am not giving another dime to this company as a result. I don't care if my behavior was wrong (it really wasn't anything that bad anyway), it is wrong that I should be punished so heavily when A) I got punished at the end of the season so somehow that is worse, and B) a simple warning would be enough to get me to wise up to my behavior.

They also used to have actual warnings before chat restrictions. However, people who got a warning always thought they had been punished and would flood support.

I don't think it's going to happen. It seems to me that Riot wants to keep you guessing as to the standing of your account so that you'll walk on eggshells with anything you say.

When you report someone do you ever get any feed back from the company saying that something has been done, or are we just supposed to assume that something is being done about that player. The communication from the company to players regarding player behaviour is some of the worst in the industry unless it's a high profile like Tyler1 was. Some feed back that something is being done would be amazing. Also there should be substantial punishments for players that create additional accounts while they are banned. Those that are discovered to have created additional accounts while under a ban should be banned for a substantial amount of time. a week long ban doesn't mean anything when they can just create another 17 accounts just to screw with people because nothing will happen to them unless they are a streamer.
