If you are reported then the system checks to see if you are doing the thing you are reported for. If it sees that you are doing it the system issues a penalty. Multiple reports only count as one and false reports actually do a lot less than people think. I always suggest muting the player, focusing on your own game, and then reporting them through the client or directly to us. You admit you were adding hostility and negativity to the game. You try to excuse that by saying you couldn't control yourself. That's your problem. Not Riot's.

It sucks, but losing your cool once IRL could get you FIRED or worsr. Its an important lesson, and a hard one to accept

my problem is if a player blames you all game and then reports you for negative behavior that is an abuse of the system. it means I can now egg on any player I want and get the reported, for one outburst the supports responses were generic and not helpful to the situation just basically saying yup looks like the system did its job. would you like another copy paste about how it works. chat restrictions should hurt honor not wipe it completely

I think you're extremely lucky this didn't get a 2-week ban, even after support looked into your logs.

Everyone gets stressed out at the end of the season in ranked, it happens. But that doesn't make it ok to insult or harass your teammates, or tell them you hope they drown.

Focus your attention on the game, not on others' toxic chat next time.

If you've been honorable all season and this was just a chat restriction you can still earn season rewards FYI. You need to get back to honor 2 in the next 2-3 months (by sometime in February)
