Please do not call a Champion Cancer or Wish someone Cancer or say you "got" cancer from a play etc Please do not refer to ANY diseases unless you physically know someone actually suffering from that disease specifically and you want to mention literally their affliction

Sometimes game terminology can be sensitive or offensive to certain people even if it isn't meant in a harmful way. If a player is harassing you and telling you to get cancer or literally wishing that you get cancer then I completely agree that this is unsportsmanlike behavior and should be reported. However, if a player says that a champion is cancer because of their cheese or cc or ability to steamroll and dominate then that is not harassment, and neither is calling a team composition cancerous because every single time they catch someone or pick someone off their health is instantly deleted.

There is a difference between player harassment and harmless game terminology that is meant to be humorous, and it appears that what you are describing is a sensitivity to terminology that is not intended to be harmful. I hope that explaining the difference helps, but if you are being harassed then definitely use the report feature!!

It doesn't work that way. You can't just ban a saying because it makes you uncomfortable when the saying itself isn't bad. If the top lane Shen says that his lane is cancer when he's laning against a Quinn, he should not be punished just because you are personally offended by that statement.

It's the same thing as when someone "so and so makes me want to shoot myself." Personally I've known 2 people who committed suicide by taking a gun to their head; but even with that you can't just ban the saying.

If you open that can of worms there will be no end to it.

How about you not be over sensitive? It's a word, words can't hurt you.

Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.

Oh wait I have to write it up for the millennials:

Sticks and stones may break my bones but words hurt even worse.

You've got to be kidding me with this.

Actual alternate definition of cancer: a practice or phenomenon perceived to be evil or destructive and hard to contain or eradicate.
