so im typically a quiet top laner i play passive champs like malphite and nasus that wait for scaling and so i never really ask for ganks much it also feels like s sense of pride possibly when i play top that i like to duo just me and them so that way it feel more like yes i killed the rather then well my jungler set me up i just did damage but one of the things that has been just driving me crazy lately are the amount of junglers i get that choose to gank top when i either have no form of cc or no damage yes im talking about youLeeSin andKhazix i also typically hate being ganked when im playing an unfortunate counter pick lane and i know i need certain items to be valuable which i haven't obtained being harassed off of farm im floating around silver 5 any one can explain for me the thought process of the junglers in ganking top when its a bad situation? please do not comment if you just tend to poke fun saying its the elo im more the certain even a challenger can make a bad call all constructive criticism is accepted

Unfortunately, picking the champs that fare better after a few minutes of farming is just painting a target on yourself for jungle camping. Especially Nasus, people love to camp him to prevent Q stacking. Your best bet is to play around it if you want to play a lategame option.

well if you're malphite or nasus you have some pretty decent CC in the form of that slow. And if the enemy is right under your turret, hitting it, shouldn't the jungle gank?

Playing a champion such as Nasus all comes down to experience. Nasus gets the short end of the stick in most early match-ups, so knowing what you can and cannot do will help tremendously. Having good map awareness and being able to anticipate dives will make or break you on a scaling champion. Don't be afraid to ask for help from your jungler, either, as getting ahead on Nasus in low elo often allows you to run away with the game. Nasus' wither greatly incapacitates his target which usually ends up in being an easy kill.

They gank top when it's a bad situation for you because it's often the best opportunity for them.

Yes, there's a wave under your turret right now. But the enemy laner is also really close to it, and it's their best opportunity. Plus, if you manage to get a Nasus to start snowballing the game is basically already won.

What I tend to do to discourage ganks before I can help is just ask the jungler to gank after a certain point. If you say you can't help before then, that usually stops them from coming until then (because they don't want to 1v1 someone who likely has a level advantage).

For Nasus in particular, it's my experience that any gank after my level 5 tends to go decently well, but as long as they gank after I hit 3 (so I have W and E) it's fine. Just make sure they know you won't be able to do much more than a W and E. If they're a Lee or Xin Zhao or some other early game AD champion, that's probably more than enough. You can fully participate at 6, when you get effectively doubled DPS enough durability from ult to actually engage.

Slow is a form of CC. So is death.

Burn their escape methods (like a dash or flash), freeze the lane near your tower and when your jgler comes, chase them down the lane with slows.

It's ok to turret dive.

thanks for all the feedback i think ill start trying to discuss my lane with my jungler more most of the time i just ask for them to get the other lanes fed because i typically do well in my lane even if im not dominating i just have at least a good understanding of how to farm i could learn to be more aggressive as a player though thanks again everyone [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
