Horrible punishment system

So I just spent 30 minutes of my life, playing the game, hoping that I would win. But there was one player that decided it would be fun to intentionally feed and troll my promo. I get that I am just silver, and I get that I can get back, but my nerves have been cut in half by this guy. Let me explain what happened so he did what he did. I was pushing top with Yorick, the guy went in the enemy jungle 1v2. He was on enemy wolf camp fighting 2v1, I pinged him MANY times to back off and just take the tower. He ignored me and just went in the two of them and he died. I almost got the tower so I thought he won't get mad. AND THEN he began on flaming me and began on inting. The game was in our favor until the guy literally went berserk on feeding enemy jinx. I stayed calm, I tried to stay calm for the whole game until I just had to type in 'report master yi' in all chat. Guy was flaming me and blaming me, WHOLE GAME, he was spamming 'enjoy defeat <3' , our adc literally begged him to stop but he ignored and tried his best to loose our game. Why are people like this unpunished?

This is a prime example of why the report system desperately requires more feedback to be provided to the player base, to avoid people like OP losing faith in the system.

@OP, that's very much punishable behavior, and there's a good chance the offender will be banned for it at some point in the near future. As Rujitra said, though, it can take some time, and you're not guaranteed to get any feedback if and when it happens.

Maybe he was punished after that game, you might never know that. I just hope you weren't toxic towards him when he trolled you, because you might get punished as well.

You just got out of the game. There’s no way the report was manually reviewed, and in fact the IFS can take upto 30 minutes to review reports if there’s a backlog of reports coming in at once (right now is a fairly backlogged time I’d presume as many people are playing right now across the world).

Furthermore, you have no way of knowing if they were punished or not.
