Got banned for "Scripting" when someone hacked my account.

scripting adc - Summoner Stats - League of Legends

Hi everyone,

my old Summoner Name was JK1000. I got an email saying that my account has been banned due to "Scripting". I log onto the Riot website and saw that name was changed to "Scripting ADC". I obviously submitted a ticket and am waiting for a response. I was wondering what I should do in this situation because my account was hacked.

If you look at my Champions and these games played - I do not take domination secondary runes for ADC, I do not play Riven, Kled or Thresh in ranked. I main ADC.

Is there anyway I can expedite the ticket process?

Just wait, it usually doesn't take too long to get a response. What you're likely going to have to do is prove that it wasn't you playing those games for which you were banned.

I've seen appeals on bans like this go both ways. It is against Riot's policy to reverse bans for scripting even if your account was compromised, but I have seen these bans reversed before (and relatively recently, too).

Nope. If you already made a ticket with your claims and information, that's about it.

I know this is a bit late now. I've just had someone hack my account, use Scripting programs on it and had my account perma banned.

Were you able to recover your account at all?

More importantly, you should be looking into how you got hacked. Even if Riot reverses the punishment, what is to stop the hacker from doing it again?

I also received the Permaban status after being hacked. I have been using this account since early 2011 and have put ALOT of time and money into my account. I have never before used a 3rd party software and never shared my password in the near 10 years of playing. I'm actually really freaked out and hope this can be reversed. :/

Just got my account back after it was hacked and banned for scripting, the employee who helped me was super nice

If Riot can see that you weren't the one playing then they'll reverse it. If you shared your account information with a friend, or for someone to boost your account though. Then the penalty may not be lifted.
