Tilt-avoiding meassures

How about this: After 3 consecutive losses in a row, where 3/3 games were with a bad grade/kda or something that indicates that the player is doing bad, to have a question pop up when you click the play button that says this "Are you sure you want to play another match?" that would dissappear after 10 seconds on its own and you cant dismiss the button in any way.

On the 4th defeat in a row, you'd get a queue ban of 10 minutes, so that it gives you some time to calm down and to like take a break from the cancer inducing behaviour that players have in-game.

On the 5th defeat in a row, you'd get a queue ban of 1 hour for the same reasons,

On the 6th defeat in a row, you'll get a warning that says "for the next 3 hours you'll be losing x2 lp and mmr and you will be getting x1/2 the lp and mmr" so that it discourages people from playing league when they are tilted.

All of the above, reset when you log out of the client for at least 3 hours, or every 24 hours from the last defeat.

Having a little warning blip pop-up to remind players that taking a break from the game so they can de-stress and come back with a fresher mindset could be helpful.

But adding penalties on top of that is just going to tilt the player more. Especially if it's arbitrary "x amount of defeats in a row" - at that point, if they're losing several matches in a row, layering on penalties is just going to send the message "hey, stop playing the game right now, you suck."

And there's no way in hell anybody would tolerate being forced to tank heavier LP losses and worse MMR for losing, and even less-so gaining less for actually winning.

People should not be penalized for striking out long play sessions, regardless of whether or not they're winning or losing - and they definitely shouldn't be getting penalties that fuck them over even if they break their losing streak.

Then you would lose all of the supports. I've consistently had the highest damage or kill participation on the entire team (or kills!) as a support with absolutely no damage items, and the team would just auto-surrender at 20 (I won't let them at 15) completely regardless of context.

All this would be doing is helping the people who are trying their damnedest to see League of Legends die.

Step 1: None of this ever happened, and the only thing that matters is the next game.

Good luck in solo queue, and have a wonderful day!

I could only imagine benefits for that happening.

Like it's easy to get lost in the moment of the defeat and a little reminder like that is worth having to ground yourself to the idea that 'Its just a game, maybe I do need a break.'

I know some MMORPGs I've played when I was younger had break messages that come by in intervals:

'You have been playing _____ for 1 hour(s)' 'You have been playing _____ for 2 hour(s)' 'You have been palying _____ for 3 hour(s), consider taking a break!'

And would sometimes chime in with, "It's best to take breaks to get the blood flowing through your body." or "Take breaks every now and then. ____ will still be here when you get back!"

League, being the popular game that it is, could really use something like this.
