Doing the exact same thing as other players

I got chat banned for doing the exact same thing as the Veigar was. The ban I feel isn't really worth it seeing how the Veigar was also being toxic in chat. The issue is I don't really report that stuff. I know my time didn't report me for it because a good chunk of them where flaming each other and I only really focused on the enemy laner. All I really said in a few words, is that 1. I have been ganked 12 times in 12 minutes Veigar, of course im gonna be mad, 2. I'm mostly likely better overall in lane than the Veigar because he only killed me 3 times out of the 12 ganks that came into my lane, and I was constantly pushing him. While he preceded to do the same thing, but take it in a very sarcastic tone. I don't think I should get punished for doing something that was being done right back to me, just because I don't press the report button for someone being equally toxic. Here's the log

Context is irrelevant. What they did is irrelevant to what you did, just like what you did is irrelevant to what they did.

Both you and Veigar were toxic. Why should either of you get off free for that?

Context doesn't matter. Just because someone was as bad or worse than you were, in your opinion, doesn't give you a pass on your behavior. You are responsible for your own actions.

You were negative and toxic. You deserved a warning or restriction.

You were still kinda toxic, though. (admittedly not overly so by just these chat logs, but usually if you're getting chat-banned it's not JUST one game where you were toxic)

Doesn't matter who started it or who was more toxic. I'd suggest muting people in the future. That's what I do. I just keep ally and all chat turned off so I don't have to worry about it.

Toxicity should not be a bannable offense. Perpetual dogging? Possibly, but in reality the internet is not for babies. There is a chat system to communicate with other players with. That's what it is intended for. If you don't like the communications you are receiving from someone, you /mute them and it all disappears, now they are all the sudden just a very quiet player. Weird how that works?

Now slurs, racial stuff, bigotry of course that is bannable, because the person would have to read the highly offense statement before being able to react and mute said individual. But people now-a-days think even pointing out their mistake that they continually make is toxic. This isn't toxic.

Reacting to someone who is goading you on is not toxic, it is banter. Banter is not toxic. Someone who is toxic, is being toxic towards you, and you be toxic back to them because you aren't a baby and an enjoy banter, but all the sudden the toxic person who started the banter gets mad because his opponents banter got under his skin, so now even though he started the banter and was toxic, he cannot take his own medicine and reports the other player, resulting in a ban of some sorts because the language throughout their conversation is considered "less than friendly" This is not right, if someone starts banter and you don't want to partake. You mute them, you don't cry like a baby because you don't like what they were saying.

Sorry, Riot handles reports in the MOST fair way possible. And that is by judging each individual by their own individual behavior. There is NO stipulation that ever allows ANYONE to break the rules. Its really the only fair way to do it. They do rely on you for reports though, so yeah... if you wanted to report them but didnt, tough beans man. Oh well. I dont really know why you even brought that up... are you wishing you wouldve reported? Or is that just an irrelevant detail you threw in for the fuck of it?

The only way a jungler would gank you 12 times is when he recognizes you as easy prey. Sorry, but that Veigar was better than you.
