"Leroy Jenkins" as a report criteria

Ever have those games where a player admits to being a first time anything, and the opposing bot team obviously has an advantage against you? Then said "first time" player persists to feed opposing bot team even when you advise precaution? Yeah. That. As this can really unnerving gameplay, I would suggest a week suspension of gameplay of 3+ players report the player under this criteria.

Everytime I see a post like this I am always amazed at double standards. Look at your own match history!

1/10/4 Xayah

0/10/1 Camille (Bonus points because you were new at her!)

By your standards you should be punished!

Did you know: One time I went 17/6 as Jax and 3 of my 4 teammates thought I should be carrying harder and I hadn't played jax before but I knew he was an auto based 1v1 kind of champ and I like those champs. Anyway, the ones that reported me were doing really poorly. Also, a first time Vel mid went like 14/2 and my 0/7 udyr was flaming me for not being aggressive enough because of course he mains vel koz and sees how crappy I am and he rallied around my whole team to report me for doing well even though I technically had no idea what I was doing and never flamed anyone as if I were any good.

One of the problems in the "Leroy Jenkins" situation - as it applies to LoL - is that sometimes players act without thinking - particularly in solo/duo que. That is, there is the no pausing for second thought about the situation. Quite often, I've seen a player doing a preventative measure such as you might see when a Rakan does his W followed by his E, or Alistar's head-butt, but the rest of the teammates read the situation as "full on engage - don't spare the horses".

On the other hand, you do get the "constructive inting" situation caused by the "Leroys" - where a player decides that his game has gone downhill and he wants the game over with - as I saw a Fizz do yesterday. Sure, he finished with a nearly respectable KDA compared to his teammates - but that's not exactly the story. The rest of his teammates were playing catch up because that same player had fed the jungler and midlaner in the first 10 minutes - which led to successful ganks on the top and bottom lanes by the opposing team. I then saw him initiate teamfight after teamfight getting his team further and further behind. This continued until his initial request for a surrender was finally honored by his teammates. He was able to brag about his KDA at the end but he made his teammates life an absolute misery.

You mean "criterion" which is the singluar form. "Criteria" is plural. :)
