While I could've muted, I didn't till I said what I wanted.

While on the rift, there's toxicity everywhere. I'm normally not the player to flame, and instead I do tend to encourage my team. Even when a situation is dire, I always commit to the game I am in, and try to take point. Being mentally strong is a good thing to have in the game but Toxicity often finds an invitation and that's for everyone. What I don't understand is how I can be called a %%%%%%, while I'm in a 4 man group practicing, be permanently banned and the other player receives no punishment what so ever. This happened the last time I got banned. I don't appreciate being called a %%%%%% especially since I am gay, but that little bit of retaliation that I gave back is the reason I was banned, Inflammatory even? I think that's ridiculous, the fact that I can't be written off while one player was extremely toxic to me and I can't be toxic back. Instead I was never notified that he was banned, nor the teammates I had at the time. Banned once, warned once, then permanent banned. The other ban was for the same reason, because a guy called me a %%%, then told me to kill myself. Never got a player report status, or anything. I'm sure a lot of players can relate to this but Riot, you guys don't even know how to balance your champs.

In the end, I muted the player after I retaliated with my retort to his inflammatory behavior. Personally I'm not a fan of the actions, I'm not looking for my account back, but seriously, it's difficult to play a game, when only certain people are cherry picked for bans, while reports aren't overlooked, while feeders get off scott-free, even win traders if you aren't a streamer. Where does it end? I'm curious to the answer which people will give in this thread. I'm not a generally toxic person, while I acknowledge that I have my moments, I am only human like everyone that plays league.

You the people that will comment in the thread can say whatever you like, no one is perfect, not even you a challenger player being a peak performer on the rift. WE all make mistakes, and I'm fine with attoning for mine as long as this issue of people not being punished happens in the future. It's not just me, I'm 100% sure there are people out there who feel the exact same way.

So, a good way to think about punishments is everyone having a hidden toxicity meter attached to their account. Everytime you break a rule, that meter fills a little. One person could have a meter thats 25% full, they break a rule, and donr get punished because it didnt fill all the way yet. That offense is still counted against them because it adds to their toxicity meter, maybe bringing them up to 75% or whatever, doesnt matter.

Meanwhile, someone else could break the rules in the exact same fashion, and actually get punished because their toxicity meter was already at 75%. There is no cherry picking... only varying levels of toxicity between accounts. Every offense is counted against each person committing the offense.

Also, that instant feedback message that you may have received at some point, is meant to serve as a reminder that your reports do get looked at. The absence of a feedback report is NOT an indicator that someone specifically didnt get punished. It is sent out OCCASSIONALLY. I wish they would get rid of it because too many people misinterpret it's purpose. Ive had to explain that many many times lol.

Furthermore, there is no stipulation in the rules that ever allows you to break the rules. So whether they offended you first makes no difference when it comes to punishments. Hope this all helps you understand the situation a little better. Its actually a fair system when you step back and take your own personal (usually subconscious, so not like hating on you or anything, we all do it) bias out of it.

I don't see how punishments are cherry picked when a machine learning program follows the same coding for every person. If someone is reported, even just 1 report, the game is reviewed. The system then punishes based on severity and consistency. If you hit the tip and register a punishment, it gives you the next punishment step for your account (escalations possible).

Intentional Feeders get punished, albeit maybe not as quickly as we would like. Win traders are also punished once it is a confirmed thing.

Yes, we all make mistakes. One should learn from the mistakes as to avoid making them again if possible.
