Do not want to "waste" energy on a troll game

Hello! I am asking for some advice for those cases, when my team has some trolls, or very inexperienced players. In these games I don't have a good time, i do not enjoy it. Trying to save a helpless situation needs a lot of effort and energy. I would like to go on to another, "enjoyable" game. All in all, i have limited time to play, and i would like to enjoy this time, and not waste energy on helpless, unenjoyable games. So again, please give me tips what to do in these situations, what kind of mindset do i need for it, to make it acceptable :c

There is no really a good mindset for it. There would have been if not for the understanding that in the end of the game the enemy will be the condescending piece of shit eager to rub their victory into your faces. There is no good mindset for your top going afk because they died 3 times to the enemy toplane. There is no good mindset for playing 2v5 against a botlane troll pick and knowing that the only reason they are winning is because your teammates are standing on the base. There is no good mindset for protecting your lane only to see your botlane pushed deep to the inhibitor, teleporting to chase the enemy bot from it and losing your toplane to a splitpusher. There is just none. Hatred is all you have.

theres 2 things you can do

  1. if you dont care too much about LoL, just leave the game and play something else
  2. try to make the best out of it. if you know the game is 100% lost, try to focus on what you are really bad at. back then i used these games to learn how to last hit. i was bad at it so when i legit had a top going 0/8 and our mid saying "im afk top trolls" i just roamed around all 3 lanes, tried to avoid every enemy and just last hit. one lane i pushed, one i freezed, the other i tried to get further ahead and kite the wave.

worked really well for me :D

Get good , farm CS and champs, get some easy picks and then 4v5 the enemy team while they are down a player.

im pretty sure leaving a game or not trying hurts the other players too. it seems the trolled have become the trolls..

You are expected to try your best in any and all games you que up for, even if it contains trolls, toxic players, inexperienced players or otherwise. There is nothing you can do without risk of Leaver Buster punishment to not "waste" time.

As for your mindset. You should hopefully be taking every game as a learning experience. especially the bad games. You learn more from Failure then you do from Success IF you are willing to look at it from an objective standpoint and not an emotional one. If you take the mindset of playing to learn, then there really is no such thing as "wasted" energy in most games if you are proactively looking for ways to learn and improve.

Playing a Solo lane also helps with this as you will then always in most cases have a laning phase where you can learn the match ups, where the trolls impact wont reach in most cases unless they are INTing and running down your lane.

Lastly if you have little time to play. I would suggest One tricking a champ if you can handle some degree of repetitiveness. If you can find a champ that you really enjoy a lot, and to the point you want to play the champ in to all situations, that can also help to make the game a little more enjoyable. As you might be able to guess from my name, I main Tryndamere with Trundle as my backup. I enjoy those two champs a lot and will play them into any situation and lane. The fact I enjoy the champs to the degree I do has helped me just ignore the trolls and focus on trying to do what i can do and what i can control. Maybe this might also help you.

Go practice CSing in a side lane, ward placements, literally ANYTHING instead of standing around pouting. The fact **you **find it unenjoyable means something is wrong with **you **not the other players.
