i had to leave home to go to boarding school, and my ex roommate found my folder with my passwords and used MY ACCOUNT to test scripts he made. i came back 4 years later and go to log on and guess what. I GOT BANNED. so naturally i went to email riot about it and submitted a ticket. And they said "account sharing is against the rules" I DIDNT WILLINGLY SHARE MY ACCOUNT. I SPENT 300$ PLUS ON THAT ACCOUNT AND YOUR TELLING ME THEY CANT HAVE A LITTLE UNDERSTANDING FOR MY SITUATION. they told me to go "make a new account" uh i gave you guys A MINIMUM OF 300$ DO I GET ANYTHING FOR THAT RIOT. smh. i hope a rioter reads this and actually understands.

Think about this some Rito's point of view. How do they verify that someone else used your account? What's to stop the next cheater from trying to pull the same stunt?

This is not something unique to Riot. Security of your account is your responsibility, nobody else's. Want to know why? They have no way to verify your claims.

I'm pretty sure that if you leave you passwords just open to everybody it's entirely your fault.

Like, who tf does that?

Damn, this is why they say youre responsible for your account security. You leave all your passwords in a folder that anyone with access to your computer can get into. Anyone can just test scripts and say "my roommate did it".
