Players wrongfully accusing others of "toxicity"

Been noticing an increasing amount of players getting triggered about the slightest things and calling it toxicity, quickly threatening to report others. Even fell victim to it myself recently by a few summoners who wanted to gang up on me for stating in champion select that Teemo has no real peel from the enemy's team comp and replying to a comment in game made by our mid laner after he said enemy Yi was fed, to which I replied "Yi is Yi, what did you expect?" Mid and support proceeded to harass me for the rest of the game claiming I was being toxic when I never attacked anyone, spam pinged anyone, cussed anyone, called anyone names, started inting/trolling or called anyone out despite the support and jungle going 2/10 and 3/10 respectively. Can someone please explain how that's being toxic and why I was reported? Because I'm very confused. They told me enjoy my reports and ban after I said they can allow riot to check the chat history of our game for my "toxicity". (Also, not sure if I'm allowed to state the names of the summoners who were harassing me because of this so I left them out.)

Yeah, it's pretty annoying. My tolerance wears thin after playing mobas for a decade.

I mean last game, not only my team, but two people on the enemy team were trash talking me cause I wasn't doing so great with yasuo (not a yasuo main, trying to learn). It's not the first time I've had people be toxic towards me when playing yasuo either...

Meanwhile my mid laner is actually inting, has 44 cs by 20 minutes, is 1/11, admitted to not even trying, and then says in all chat "report yasu"

Same with my bot laner... "report yasuo for feeding"... even though I have the most damage and cs on the team as a garbage newb yasuo.

Makes you wonder how the fuck people process their thoughts

you can be reported for anything, even saying "mickey mouse".

The system has the ability to filter out false reports, so don't worry about getting reported. However, them harassing you with "Reporrrrrrttttt" spams is indeed a valid report and your report will count towards a punishment in the future.
