Wow Riot. Really? Just punishing people for no good reason?

Wow, how interesting! I join a ranked game as Sona and my Caitlyn (who is obviously not very experienced) eats Leona's E/root spell almost every single time. As a result, caitlyn dies first on the first 3 engages bot lane makes. Eventually she, and another member of my team call me "useless". Not referring to my skill, but my champion. However, who says that to their support who can't prevent YOU from being stunned?

As the game continued, I am cursed at and called useless more and more as people die.

So I roam the map, leaving this toxic Cait by herself because of harassment I didn't need to deal with. I build AP Sona. They take it as me trolling. Mind you, I haven't cursed at or threatened these people once yet. I DID post in /All chat many times about how toxic they were. And as I continued to win fights with them / heal them (as they claimed I was trolling and feeding) I posted in /All saying "wow this sona, horrible I know."

Point: After this, I receive 10 chat restricted games. IN. Ranked.

I didn't deserve this. PERIOD. I was attacked by 3 toxic people who didn't know wtf was going on. And how interesting. I just supported a winning game as Leona with players who weren't abrasive and got +2 teamwork, +1 helpful. I guess i'm such a feeding troll?

Riot. Please. Check the facts before you randomly punish players.

The other player's behavior is definitely not acceptable, so you should probably mute them. Going in /all chat and spreading the drama is only going to make things worse. If someone wants to be toxic, respectfully request that they desist, and if they continue their behavior just mute and report them. Since it only takes one report to flag the match for when their case is reviewed you do not need to convince anyone else they need to report.

There will have been more games that contributed to this punishment as well. Your in-client reform card may have 1-3 games of chat logs, but the email may only have 1.

Reactions like this are considered toxic. From the story you told, sure, I definitely agree that you had the right to act the way you did, I get angry at video games more than anyone, but you can't react to it because it is considered toxic. It's not the right thing to do, be the bigger person.

As obnoxious as it may seem, I wasn't talking to myself. I was freely supporting my entire team even though all through /all chat they were talking bad about me. Most of these messages are sarcasm. And that was clear in the context of the rest of the conversation. I DIDNT DESERVE THE RESTRICTION. SORRY.

But when a new thread complains about riot's bad punishment system, it gets upvotes. Loving it!!
