is this really so bad i desserved to be suspended? like how is it fair that im getting cussed out, told to dodge before i even pick my champion, but i get punished for calling a lowlife loser a low life loser??? i played my best (didnt have a good game because after feeding his mid laner, he was afk at turret, wasnt grouping or anything so essentially it was a 4v5.... like what the fuck riot? is this really your standards to punish? how is this fair? people legit say worse things EVERY game how is this even punishable?

You were verbally antagonistic from the start. This would contribute to a punishment. That doesn't excuse their behavior, but you are responsible for yours.

"suspension worthy" is the incorrect terminology you are using.

The system doesn't punish based on severity alone. It punishes based on consistency x severity, meaning you can be punished for 1 game of extreme toxicity or many many games of mild toxicity.

What you should be using instead is whether this chat is considered negative. If it is, it will be accumulated into your behavioral history, and when you pass a certain toxicity threshold, you'll get punished.

So were you using chat negatively this game? Plenty of others have point that out already. The next question is "how often" you exhibit such behavior, and you or Riot support can answer that question.

You know how in schools if kids get in a fight, both of them get suspended? Same thing for Riot. It doesn't matter why the fight happened both parties will be punished. If you want to flame someone who deserves it you gotta understand you're risking it just to put some dope (likely a teenager or younger) in their place. It's ultimately a waste of time. It's not fair that they get to hold the game hostage, it's not fair that when they do get banned they'll just buy another account and behave worse. But that's life. It's a free online game this is just what happens when millions of people come together to play a game. If you do enjoy chatting in video games, when it comes to Riot make sure everything is rainbows. Toxic people want you to argue with them so they can get you banned.

"you know better than to trust trolls" i said that because he said 100 rp for every kill on me, which prompted it being a 2v4 in my lane, since the troll yuumi was afk mid lane just staying under turret, and i would like to note that i muted him at 10 minutes, so i DIDNT EVEN SAY ANYTHING TO HIM FOR A HALF HOUR WHERE THE ENEMY TEAM SAID HE WAS STILL TALKING SHIT!

Similar situation I am currently dealing with except it was 3 trolls not just one.

What I've learnt from this experience whether it's fair or not is that talking to trolls is bannable no matter the context or messages said.

No it isn't fair but unfortunately that's how Riot's flawed system works and i doubt it will change as there are plenty of delusional people who support it.

GL and for this situation maybe just dodge to avoid dealing with people like this, a 5 minute dodge timer is better than 15-20+ minutes of torture and potentially a punishment.
