What is considered to be toxic?

Rn it seems like there are no clear rules and boundaries of that is toxic and what is not. Some people say arguing is toxic. some say caps lock and some say there are key words that will be flagged by the system.

These are the things I found that can relate to chat from: https://support-leagueoflegends.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752884-Reporting-a-Player

1.Insulting, harassing, or offensive language directed at other players. (well this one is easy to understand)

2.Any kind of hate speech such as homophobia, sexism, racism, and ableism. (seems right)

3.Unnecessarily disruptive language or behavior that derails the match for other players. (this one is very vague)

How can an algorithm knows what is "Unnecessarily disruptive language or behavior that derails the match for other players" Are there key words it flag? is so which words? What is considered to be unnecessary? it can be literally everything. How does it knows if what someone says derails the match for other plays?

The problem of this vagueness is that riot says the system is automatic which I do not believe it is fully automatic. If so what are the rules so we know how not to "derail" the match. If a rioter inspects it, how can we know he is not just a snowflake who gets offended by "EZ"

If im missing anything please feel free to link it here at the comments guys

So this is NOT an exhaustive list but rather a couple guidelines that can help you avoid being punished or can even be considered toxicity.

First and foremost: If it isn't nice, don't say it.

That might seem a little strict but honestly if you stick to that you don't have to worry about getting punished for chat related issues.

Other than that - Cursing is NEVER necessary. It has negative connotations overall. This isn't to say you can't curse, you definitely can. But directing your cursing to someone instead of just saying it is not a good look. "Fuck" as opposed to "Fuck you adc" for example. The first is fine, the second is not.

You don't need to point out other players scores, rank, CS, etc. The main exception to this COULD be "He is quite a bit more farmed than you right now, just try to be careful." Point it out in a positive manner, don't get drawn into arguments, don't repeat it if they don't follow your advice.

Saying someone is int'ing doesn't have a practical or constructive purpose. By definition anyone who is "int'ing" is doing it INTentionally. You pointing it out simply tells someone who knows what they are doing what they are doing. On the other hand, saying someone is int'ing when they are just having a bad game doesn't do anything constructive. They aren't magically going to get better, they likely know they are dying too much. Int'ing carries a negative connotation with it and has no positive purpose in chat.

One report in a game does as many as 9 reports in a single game. Because of this you never need to ask for more reports if you are already reporting. Doing so distracts you from the game, lowers morale, adds to toxicity, and can be considered harassment if done repeatedly throughout a game.

Spamming in general (both pings and chat) is not constructive. You may want to ping twice or thrice to get your message across but more than that isn't helpful (especially the question mark ping). Same goes with messages. Say something once, MAYBE twice if super important but refrain from spamming more than that. It becomes distracting and counterproductive.

Don't focus on what gets you punished. If you do that you will find yourself continuously toeing the line. Instead focus on how to be a constructive, positive member of the community.

Just because you do not understand how an automated system works does not make it impossible. Most people wouldn’t be able to tell you how a kidney works - does that mean that none of us have kidneys?

The rules are pretty clear that you simply shouldn’t insult, flame, or verbally abuse others. That’s not unclear.
