Why do the toxic players never seem to get banned?

I've had numerous games this preseason with players being very direct about their insults and even going so far as to suggesting others kill themselves. Despite numerous ban efforts nothing has come of them. Does Riot simply not care because ranked season is over? The in game toxicity and rudeness are reasons why I don't play the game as much as I did in the past, and frankly why I have my doubts about playing in the future. Is it possible I'm not getting notifications for bans after I report players, or because the consistency of the reports renders my reports meaningless despite detailed explanations?

To be blunt dude, if you can't learn to ignore/mute verbally toxic players, then its best if you simply leave the game.

the instant feedback system is broken and does more harm than good because it creates the illusion that toxic players never get banned. I'm going to write a post about it here eventually, but I just don't feel like it right now.

Just because you're not getting notifications doesn't mean they aren't getting penalties or flags. One/two game doesn't represent their general overall every game. The IFS only detects consistency or severity. Everyone has a bad game, but even then they will still get a flag if it's legitimate.

Just know one game doesn't mean they're at their last flag strike before a penalty. I understand you might think they deserve it before they ruined your one/two games you've experienced with them. But it doesn't mean they do it every game. But every flag counts. Building up over time before they get a penalty tier. I've been through it plenty of times, dealing with toxic players. But I do report them and I do not expect a notification. I am used to it and surprised if I ever do get one.

I just know Riot isn't liable to give me information on a player, regardless if they ruined my game or not. I just know I did my part by reporting them, and I know they will get a flag for it. I know what triggers as a legitimate report and I use it whenever necessary.

But remember, regardless what anyone says, just mute and report them. Enjoy the game for what it is not for the people who's trying to ruin it. But don't let them ruin it with their toxicity. Just keep reporting them. They will eventually get punished, and you were there to help where it counted.

It's this. Riot won't notify you of every successful punishment resulting from your reports.

Have you even been on these forums.

Bec ause riot doesn't give a shit about toxicity in game. They actually PROMOTE TOXICITY by allowing this type of bullshit. I just got flamed by a duo Q for an entire game, telling me to fuck off from the first minute, I suck, I'm trash. I asked them to stop talking to me and then I got banned.

FUCK YOU RIOT. Pieces of shit.

Because they are unfazed by bans and make or buy new ones

Source: around 50 bans
