Does Riot Check?

I'm not too familiar with the "Tribunal" System or whatever it is called. What I am talking about is after a game when you can report a player for verbal abuse, harrassment etc etc... Does Riot check every single report or do they only check a player if they have x amounts of reports in x amount of time?

Could someone help me here?

Thank you

EDIT: I think it's an extremely hard thing to implement with the amount of daily players. I'm not sure there will ever be a perfect system, I was just curious and wanted some more information from some more informed people.

From what I understand it only takes a single report to get it looked at..but multiple reports put it higher in priority..

This could be wrong as I have seen no official report on it..but that's my understanding

The Tribunal system is no longer used. What is currently used to check reports and issue violations is the IFS, or Instant Feedback System. It is a Machine Learning automated system that, upon a report, goes through the reported individual's chat logs, and after checking their violation history, as well as the severity of the offense, will issue out a punishment, if necessary.

The tribunal hasnt existed for at least 3 seasons. It means nothing and only the automated system does it. So a lot of your reports really mean nothing in the end.

It's X amount of reports in X amount of games, and if you said any naughty words. Thats it.

just don't try to defend your self. you get punished by a gang bang of toxic players reporting you just for the hell of it. no, its automated system good or and bad alike we all get hit with a report as right or wrong

There is an automated system that checks when there is a report. The system decides if it is punishable and if it is it assigns it a severity.

Hate speech, encouraging suicide, racism etc will vault you right to a 14 day ban.

Everytime an accurate report is made on your account, your punishment meter fills. Once it fills all the way up you are punished by where you are on the punishment tier. It goes 10 game chat restriction, 25 game, 14 day ban, perm ban.

It is possible with good or neutral behavior to unfill your meter, or even to drop punishment tiers. However, that takes many more games then it takes to fill.

they only use an automated system which apparently makes it so you cant call people out for trolling or being toxic or feeding. i have an email where the pretty much states that riot supports troll and toxic players. Here is the part i am referring to:

"These are a few avenues in which our IFS (Instant Feedback System) can detect negativity for in League.

Arguing with others (Even if you didn't start the problem, you can slow it down or stop it by ignoring the misbehavior of others) Calling out other player's poor behavior (Players want attention so they'll try and push your buttons, it's important to do your best to not let them get to you) Calling out other player's poor gameplay choices/performance (This is more self explanatory but if you're not focused on future objectives, you're only hindering your chances of having a competitive match)"

so pretty much if you call someone out for being toxic or trolling or intentionally feeding, you are the 1 that gets banned not them
