rito: wE dOnt unTrStrand wHy U feEl like Our sisTm dOs notIng

yeah i wonder why we get that feeling hmmm. INSTANT (haha) FEEDBACK (haha) system my ass.

"send in a support ticket" there i wrote that for you. np. in that support ticket i will ask riot why their system is down again. maybe i get an answer (haha)

pls read edit: im aware of the feedback message being very rare. thats why i said "feedback(haha)" because the name just doesnt fit in idk 90% of the cases so far 3 out of 3 comments told me "just cause you didnt get a feedback doesnt mean the user isnt banned" id appreciate if you READ the thread before commenting on it. the user is in my friendlist and is chatting with me RIGHT NOW almost half an hour later. i dare to say that I DO KNOW that he isnt banned IF HE IS CHATTING WITH ME

Heh, that's a lower case L or straight separator |, not a capital i.

Meaning the dude went around the system, and the chat probably requires a manual review.

Check again in 4 days, he'll probably be back.

And welcome back. Good to see you again.

Because riot uses an automatic bot that tries to find hate speech and the person used the letter l insead of I which isnt detected by bots because it isnt the actual word. Bots are pretty bad tbh, they are only good up until people dont spell words properly.

He isn't banned because he got a chat restriction. Using racist slurs only gives you a chat restriction. It isn't a ban at all. Meaning, if he hasn't been punished before. He'd be given a 10-game chat restriction. Then a 25, 2-week suspension and finally a permanent ban. If you want him to get the escalated punishment, you can try sending them the logs of the Nazi symbols and racist slurs. I don't know if they'd actually escalate it to a 2-week ban though.

"Zero tolerance" is not always zero tolerance. I've seen multiple cases of people using these "zero tolerance" words/phrases, and not getting the escalated two week ban as intended. It seems to be inconsistent.

because riot doesn't care and won't punish those who deserve it. other day got matched with a yasuo who threw a tantrum and inted and flamed and chat. I reported them. never got a confirmation they were dealt with.

Yeah they really suck at helping people understand the system. The instant feedback system is not meant to tell you of every instance of punishment. It is sent to remind players that their reports do have an effect. It is not meant to inform you of specific accounts being punished. Other peoples account status is between Riot and the account holder. So if you didnt get an instant feedback report, dont worry, it does not mean that a punishment was not dealt. Just so you know. I wish they would get rid of it, or be a little more clear as to its purpose, because I've seen hundreds of people misinterpret its purpose, like what we have here.

Also, I think (not 100% sure on this) they gotta have a human confirm it before a ban is placed. So it may take more than 15 minutes for them to get to that.

Riot ban system is automated and one can bypass it like the Vlad did in your pic sending a ticket won't give you the "Instant Feedback" message the person probably got banned if you actually sent a ticket, check their match history
