So im climbing to diamond all is well. I encounter a feeding top, jungle and so i give hope by explaining if we farm up we can win. I was playing veigar and his passive scales off farm. So the entire game my bot lane was flaming me about how i was doing nothing and only farming with no damage contribution to team fights. I got "mass reports according to riot" but my chat logs show me stating top lane,jungle lanes kda along with me explaining that veigar needs to farm in order to vs fed players. My second game which got me banned was a shaco who ran it down my lane x3 pre lvl 6 and then decided to blame me for "not having enough pressure" into a lux pre 6 as zed. I don't understand how hes able to get away with inting my lane constantly flaming me and then of all things getting me banned for calling him out as a troll. Riot please fix your ban systems how can i go two weeks with 2-4 honors every game and get reported twice by some trolling inters and then get banned? ill post chat logs for both games once i can figure out how but jesus i was so close to Diamond this season considering I only put in a few hundred games. I don't understand how as a top percentage player were able to keep a positive attitude when someone is trying to tilt yoyur own team. you always say if you don't have anything good to say don't type, what was i supposed to say don't worry about feeding my mid laner keep doing it??/ common riot fix this Bs you keep banning people off some bias chat logs because you only show half the story. You have no clue what its like to try and climb and not say anything when more than half of your games are thrown due to teams being clueless. You set up your own accounts in what ever elo you prefer because its your game and so you dont have to worry about playing with the majority of the toxic fuckers within the system because you're not trying to climb simply because you can make yourself an account in any elo you prefer. maybe just one try and help the community by giving them a chat ban for a month or longer instead of perma banning people because of all the time they spent climbing and wasting on your dying dog shit game its the least you could do. along with that the majority of your player base is in silver and fucking lower the lowest IQ players of them all and they're supposed to be the largest percentage of players. Yet anyone above is deemed trash if you're below masters because you don't have a name for yourself. Had you shown some intent in helping players be reformed it might've helped a lot of people. I was on my way back to earning my Honor level back just to get annoyed one or two games in two weeks and eventually get perma banned due to your shitty ass system.

You don't get banned for muting and reporting them.

You do get banned if you decide to retaliate by flaming or harassing others players.

First: You mute and move on. Its really that easy. It really is. You ask what you're supposed to say. Nothing. You don't say anything.

Second: Toxic Players are more likely to be on the enemy team than on yours, assuming you're not toxic. I don't think I should assume that in this case though.

Third: Silver is not indicative of low IQ. I believe Riot said that the halfway point of player distribution is somewhere in high silver. This is the natural distribution of players based off of statistics. In order for 5 players to win and gain LP, 5 need to lose. It is simply the distribution and not a causation of low IQ. There MAY be a correlation, but I would imagine it is a weak correlation at best.

Fourth: Riot does have people in the Player Behavior team that play in most/all ELOs as part of their job to observe player behavior and toxicity, but they are also where they should be in terms of ELO. If they aren't then they are unbalancing the game for 9 other players, which would be toxic. That seems counterproductive doesn't it?

Fifth: You say you're getting your honor back (Zuko much?) which implies you lost it before through a ban. On your previous bans, especially the one before a permaban, you would have received a warning that any other infraction would result in a permaban. It's not a bad system, it's working mostly as intended. Is it perfect? No, but I believe it catches the right people.

TL;DR: Don't respond at all. Mute. Move on. Avoid excess sodium in your diet.

You're supposed to say nothing. You have no control over other people's behavior, and they will not have a sudden change of character due to your passionate words. If people are being toxic or otherwise negatively impacting your game, mute them, get on with your game, then report them at the end. "Defending yourself" is not an excuse to flame people out.

Seriously, there is zero benefit to having the chat unmuted. All it can do is tilt you. There is nothing relevant that cannot be communicated through pings. If you are the type to get emotional when people comment on your gameplay, mute the chat entirely. The option is there in the settings for exactly that reason.

Riot doesn't ban people for defending themselves. Riot penalized people for going against the policy. Toxic is toxic.

If you want to defend yourself, then start muting.

Start muting people if your skin isnt thick enough to endure the flame. Theres no shame in it man. Just mute. its better than risking your account. Which you now know every account is very vulnerable to bans. The logs werent really even that bad.
