Having 
as bot lane AD really sucks. Sucks as in complete lack of CS. He kept diving all the time in front of huge minion waves all the while ignoring any CS for the last 15 min. Within just less than 15 minutes, he only had 22 CS with close to double digits death and not even poking with his Q for damage. I just hate troll like this in my game......

I really wish people would learn what a troll is.
Trying something unorthodox and underperforming with it is not trolling. Trolling is when someone is intentionally being a non-productive or (more often) a counter-productive member of a team.
Guess it may not help, but I always suggest a melee bot to go with a Relic Shield starting item. Coin if they plan on being kind of passive. While losing stats for early trading, it helps with gold income and even farm depending on what they started.
Let them push and teach him how to CS under tower.
He's Panth. he doesn't even need the support to help him prep his caster minions.
He's not a troll, just probably doesn't know how to play properly.
