Reporting a Player

> Hello everyone, this is my first post ever.I decided to discuss about reprots.Everyone knows that at low elos reporting is "number one priority",for example:you cant get first blood"report mid",steal someones kill fo acsident or maybe cause you need to get into game"report for ks",someone doesnt have a good internet connection for the moment"report for feed",etc.Cause of reporting many innocent peoples get banned cause they dont have good internet and they're not that good at the game, and even though they try and do our best their reward is a ban.Of course i am not the only one discussing about this but there has never been found a solution and this is a case where riot recently haven't been working on.My suggestion is that when you wantr to report someone in the end of the game screen you have to get a "recipient list" if you wanna call it like that which could work like:If 2 teammates and one oppent agrees for the acused person to get reported than he deserves, unless cases where the peoples who have to agree for the report are "corrupted" than its an innocent report which happens in reall rare cases but still, this is one step ahead.

If anyone has any suggestion pls comment below and lets raise our voice for this poblems that has lived and is living betwen us for ages now and hope riot listenes us.

Thank you.

Cause of reporting many innocent peoples get banned

Alrighty new guy :)

Lets get you understanding the facts on the system first before you talk about changing the system.

People don't get banned just based on the sheer number of reports they receive. Those reports are validated by the report system, and if the report doesn't contain toxicity, then the report get throw own.

It is very rare that people getting punished are innocent. Most the time they just don't see what they are saying as "bad".

Also multiple reports within a game does the same thing as 1 report; it flags the system to check for toxicity. It's programmed that way to prevent gang reporting from the premades against the solo players.

Now are there things they could improve on the system? sure. but your concerns are already addressed by the system.

No. Reporting is not number one priority. If people are asking for reports at every mistake you make, mute them, say nothing, then report them afterwards.

I mean... I'm not sure why people still think 'report = ban'... No no no, if you RTFM, reports trigger a review of the game which can count in a future report if you get enough games in a small enough time window THEN you can get a punishment levied against you. You can get 100 reports against you, and if you are not engaging in punishable behavior, you're safe.

I don't think the report system is perfect, but I also don't think you understand it very well.

You only need 1 report in a game to flag the player. If 9 reports gets sent in about one person, it means the same thing as just 1 report as far as the system is concerned.

You can get 1000 reports again you, but if you're not doing anything wrong then those reports might as well not exist. You don't have anything to worry about as long as you're not doing anything wrong.

a lot of people are banned nearly for nothing but you are very rarely banned for playing poorly (albeit a false ban for inting is possible, i saw such a screenshot too), even for playing poorly intentionally

the most common reason of bans it's verbal abuse, that's why smart people report those whom they dislike for verbal abuse, if they used chat at all it adds up and has a chance to eventually get those people banned. btw it was like that in dota too, i recall people reported those who poorly played for verbal abuse without any valid reason to give those chat restrictions. in lol it means potentially permabanning them

this whole moderation system is flawed to the root

the only way to get banned at this game its that if you use the chat, even scripters are forgotten by the system.

Yes, it should be changed. I think you exaggerate in this, but I've been banned twice solely for my playstyle which isn't even that off meta (I like to play split pushers so i get reported a LOT for split pushing if my team ends up losing; I also play a lot of WW jung and if you don't gank before 6 in high plat elo you get reported often). I never talk in game, even that doesn't help sometimes.
