Bad Mouthing team mates

Only had this problem twice but, what should I do? I've had team mates saying really inappropriate stuff in chat and it really bothers me that people like this still exist. Should I report them? Or just ignore and get a thick skin? Not only team mates but I made a practice custom game, 1v1, and also had them saying stuff the just rage quits. How should we as a community deal with toxicity like this? Also since I'm kinda new to the game and still learning the curves, it would really help how to deal with people like this.

Try not to pay any mind to it, just mute them and report them at the end of the game. If you're new, I'd recommend checking out the League discord for some people you can play with, that way you'll have understanding teammates who can show you the ropes and they won't flame you for any missteps.

Good luck on the Rift!

What could also help is attempting to reach out then finding out if you should mute them or not. Some people just say salty shit about others, but then you find out that they aren't actually salty at all. They just habitually talk shit about people no matter what.

You should just grow a thicker skin dude. While I personally don't report anyone for flaming me, not even when they use racist terms (I'm White lmao, I don't care) I'd say to you, OP.. just report people who drop N bombs and shit like that, otherwise... grow up. Seriously. Grow the fuck up. This is the problem I have with the riot system in general; YOUR personal feelings shouldn't factor into whether or not something is forbidden. I agreed with Dunky when he first made his video about quitting league and I still agree with Dunky.

Picture very much related. Online gaming used to awesome. I remember beta testing SOCOM Online back in like 2003 or something like that, and NO ONE CARED. People like YOU feel entitled to change what you didn't build or contribute to. I'm really sick of online gaming.

^ Essentially this, but replace "planet" with "gaming community" and "mud hole" with "cesspool"
