(Both games were on Pyke support, and were in ranked)

Hey all, milkyourcat here. Sometimes I get too heated playing league, and start flaming people in team chat. It's a bad habit, but I've been trying to avoid name-calling and have been trying to watch what I say. Either way, I just got a 14-day suspension for something I still don't really understand. Here are the chat logs down below (anything in parenthesis is commentary I'm writing now to clarify things):

Summary/Reflection: Team was being toxic and everyone was blaming each other (myself included), and i got caught along on the bandwagon. Looking back the right thing to do would have been to just mute my team and not say anything at all. But still, I dont think i went too far over the top here.

Game 2 Pre-Game milkyourcat: why veig milkyourcat: no im just asking why veigar milkyourcat: instead of an actual adc milkyourcat: no he doesnt? milkyourcat: yes you do lmao milkyourcat: past 10 games or so everyone has played marksmen bot lane milkyourcat: they have 3 tanks milkyourcat: oof In-Game milkyourcat: yeah they got 3 melee and we have a fair amount of cc. early might be rough with voli but we will outscale milkyourcat: he start ganking, i stop pinging milkyourcat: veigar stop being so scared you have abilities other than your R milkyourcat: malphite ornn ahs a 40 cs lead on you there's a thing called playing too safe (malphite was spamming everyone to play safe) milkyourcat: im in promos i want to win k thx milkyourcat: voli is camping bot and our hec and our mid dont want to come help :((((((( milkyourcat: every single lane is being pushed up but hec still wont gank... what is going on in his head milkyourcat: malphite if im trash then what does that make you?? (malphite called me trash (he was very far behind in kills and cs)) milkyourcat: that was a bad baron call (we made a bad baron call) milkyourcat: my question is why does this team have such bad map awareness (everyone was in a different lane while their entire team was pushing up mid) milkyourcat: yeah its not like we have a jungler or anything. malphite, you inted all game and are talking out your ass. muted (malphite was flaming and saying he lost lane because i didnt roam top enough) Post-Game milkyourcat: can you guys please report malphite milkyourcat: he was really toxic milkyourcat: ok i didnt do anything so go ahead (Here malphite said he would report me for being toxic) milkyourcat: how lol

Summary/Reflection: Toxic Malphite flamed me all game, i flamed a little bit back. I still dont see what I did too wrong here.

Conclusion: I know I went a bit over the top with flaming in the first game. I'm sure me being toxic tilted everyone, and they didnt play as well, but I still dont understand why this is worthy of a 14-day suspension. I have had 2 chat restrictions in the past (one I had just gotten off of) for name-calling, something I have decided to avoid at all now. But let me know if you guys think this is really something that should get me banned for 2 weeks.

I still dont understand why this is worthy of a 14-day suspension. I have had 2 chat restrictions in the past (one I had just gotten off of) for name-calling, something I have decided to avoid at all now.

On your previous reform card (from the 25-game chat restriction you just received) it was stated that any continued negativity would result in a 14-day suspension. As you rise through the punishment tiers, your account is placed on thinner and thinner ice. It takes continued neutral or positive action to restore your account's standing.

If you make any negative comments when your 14-day suspension ends, your account could get permanently banned off as little as one game.

Jesus man. Stop playing the role of team coach. Obviously this breaks the rules. You insulted players. It is clearly punishment worthy. The punishment tiers go; 10 gamechat restrict, 25 game chat restrict, 14 day ban, permaban. You say you already had 2 chat restricts, so naturally youre up to a 14 day ban.

Stop coaching and criticizing and insulting people and you will be fine. Ive gone 4-5 years without punishment, so its very possible to save your account. Just stop doing what youve been doing in chat and you'll eventually go back down in punishment tiers.

Remember, next punishment is permaban, for ANYTHING that breaks the rules. Its not gonna take hatespeech or anything, because youre consistently breaking the rules. Its severity x consistency, remember. When youre this consistent, you dont need it to be a severe offense to get banned.
