Why is there no report for prolonging a guaranteed loss?

Why is it that I have to sit in a game for upwards of 20 mins because 2 of my teammates don't want to accept a guaranteed loss. I see this happen so often. what is the point of inting people just so you can report them for getting pissed off at having to sit in a lost game for way longer than needed?

There is no guaranteed loss, just defeatist throwers like you who give up at the first opportunity.

Considering you feed spectacularly in way too many games - to the point where i would hesitantly call it inting, due to the timers involved - you should be happy other people are not reporting you for being awful, instead of expecting them to be punished for your throwing.

I have seen teams come back from hilarious odds like 5 to 30 at 15 minutes when playing in games that low ELO. Happens pretty often when someone gets overconfident.

What's worse than that is dealing with people that spam ff vote because they are behind.

I have won many a game after being behind, sometimes 20+ kills and have lost both Nexus towers. I rarely ff and never on a ranked game, ever.

I have failed in my lane sometimes hard in the past playing top. There are still ways to help you team and win. Build tank, take a supportive role. It's not over just because I lost a duel to Xin Zhao.

Not saying I am any expert on the game at all. But been playing a while I have been a part of some good comebacks.

There is no guaranteed losses if you strive to win and you can change your tactics as the game progresses.

Example: https://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2935385662/237648988?tab=overview

At around 20 minutes some players were demanding we give up and that it was hopeless. I being of the "NEVER SAY NEVER" mindset in all games because that's how you should always play to win refused to acquiesce, and through calculated splitting, persistent warding, and strategic engagements we finally got ahead in gold by 36 minutes. However, we lost 1 team fight cuz of silly mistakes and those players then kind of went back to giving up and then it went to the loss, but there was a GOOD EFFORT TOWARDS A COMEBACK in it.

Example 2: https://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2916355582/237648988?tab=overview

Here is a game where we never had more gold than the enemy, at times being as low as 8000 gold behind. Victory. If you have the CC and raw power, you can force many things through (this involved a yolo push mid after the Camille tried to do some backdooring).

Example 3: https://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2789791569/237648988?tab=overview

Some lanes were losing, hard. Our individual strategies weren't as effective as we'd like, so I said NO MORE, and we turned the game into "help Caitlyn farm simulator," where she ended up farming over 500 between minions and jungle. By doing this, we ensured that we were constantly grouping to keep each other alive in the team fight.

You don't always win even when you try your hardest, but you will only win IF YOU TRY YOUR HARDEST, ESPECIALLY DURING THE HARD TIMES.

Don't give up, be willing to adjust your strategy for the benefit of the team.

How is it a guaranteed loss if you were able to hold out for another 20 minutes?

People's macro are bad, just becuase you lose lane doesn't necessarily mean you'll lose in rotations and team fights.

Because the only guaranteed loss is when the nexus explodes. At which point the game is already lost and no player action can prolong it.

Because having extra chromosomes causing the "never ff xd" syndrome is apparently not reportable. Just go afk farm in a side lane and pray that enemy team ends faster. You will not get banned, dw, as long that u don't sit in the fountain.

i understand your frustration. i have heard players admit they are not letting the game end to punish their team for playing bad.

so this is sometimes a form of trolling. the problem is there is no way to differentiate the trolls from the people who actually believe they can still win. so it will probably never be punishable.

I usually just soft afk when someone is holding me hostage.

It should be reportable if a teammate shows clear intent on trolling the surrender vote.

What seems like a guaranteed loss to you is seen as an opportunity for comeback to others. If you want to give up at the first sign of struggle such as your tower being taken, someone disconnecting for a few minutes, or an enemy being fed, that's on you.

If you can last for another 20 minutes, that's long enough for you to farm up and get back in the game or splitpush to get some map pressure.

It's long enough to win one teamfight with some smart focus, take a few objectives, maybe even a baron and use that to your advantage.
