Wrongfully banned for 14 days.

I was banned a day ago after a normal match. I have barely played int he past 5 days due to my internet connection being unstable. I always /ignore all every single game I play in because I have lost multiple accounts to tribunal and the rigged reporting system. I submitted a ticket so that I could figure out why I was manually banned for 14 days. I was given a 14 day suspension before receiving a 25 game chat restriction. After waiting almost a day here is what the Riot employee told me.

Hey Summoner,

My name is Bombadil and I'm with Riot Player Support and I'll be helping you today. I have looked into this account for you and it was punished in regards to negativity within games, such as intentional feeding/afking, verbal abuse, and arguing with other players. You've received and abnormal and excessive amount of reports recently, and as such we manually audited your account. I will provide a chat log below for more context in regards to the behavior being punished for.

This Ryze was flaming my friend all game I had to keep telling my friend to ignore him so we could win. I ignored him after this because he kept trying to tell me that going bottom to 1v2 instead of helping us do baron while 3 were dead was more important. It ended up costing us baron and our lead and eventually the game when he decided to sit mid and AFK on purpose to make us lose when we went to do baron a second time. I ignored Ryze after that.

This chat was to my entire team we had jut aced and took an inhib and I was making sure everyone knew what to do so we were all on the same page and could prepare for baron. In a lot of my ranked games my teammates do not understand that they need to back based on respawn timers and end up getting caught out of position and snowballing a lead for the other team.

My teammates listened to me we killed 4 and we were preparing to take baron.

This is where I complain about my teammate intentionally throwing the game again. The Ryze flamed everyone on my team and intentionally afkd multiple times. Somehow I'm the one being punished. What doesn't make sense to me is that this game was almost a week ago so why am I just now getting banned for it? Also, no one should ever get banned for saying anything like this. I was no where close to being toxic.

Since it is very likely that the next punishment on this account will be a permanent suspension, I recommend just muting players you are having issues with and refrain from saying negative comments or arguing with them to avoid receiving reports/punishments in the future. Fighting fire with fire only adds to the flame, and doesn't actually solve anything. Chat is meant to be used to constructively communicate with teammates to work towards winning the game. If something won't offer anything constructive or positive it shouldn't go in chat.

I would suggest reporting players you are having issues with if you feel necessary after the game, but please refrain from asking for reports in game as this is considered a form of negativity as well. Reports help us prioritize what accounts to look into for further disciplinary action.

Bombadil Riot Games Player Support "Not all those who wander are lost"

He says I was reported for intentional feeding. If you look at my match history I do not intentionally feed ever. I had 2 bad games where my connection kept dropping and I submitted the logs to prove it. I also do not verbally abuse or harass anyone ever. I don't talk in a majority of my games and when I do talk it is usually in ranked when I try and direct my team on what objectives we need to be prepared for. He says I was also reported for afking yet I have never afkd. He has zero proof for why I was manually banned. If I was banned for verbal abuse it would've given me a 25 game chat restriction not a manual 2 week ban. I deserve an actual explanation. I'm almost 100 percent certain you went back and looked for a game where It looks like I was annoyed by my teammates, but In reality not even this log is ban worthy. You honestly can't give me an explanation for my ban because you know it was wrong.

In this log I said afk because I had a Ryze on my team who kept afking in mid every time we went to baron. I typed afk and pinged him in mid because he was standing still at a ward doing nothing.

Literally the only thing I could tell you is precisely what Bombadil from Player Support told you. Your punishment was decided upon after a manual audit of your behavior, which was found to be enough of a problem in too many games to warrant it.

Listen to what Bombadil said and take it to heart so that this doesn't result in a permaban when you come back. If you don't have anything positive and useful to say, just don't say anything to the other players, and always focus on winning the match instead of blaming people, and definitely do not intentionally throw the match through any means.

  1. if you we're instantly "banned for 14 days", this would be true, but you mentioned you previously had " a 25 game chat restriction."
  2. Your 25 game restriction is strike 1, that was the warning, this does not decay or expire, after the 25 game chat is removed, you are still on the list.
  3. Then it's seems you continued your pattern of negative behavior, got reported and now in your strike 2 sentence, aka Suspension.

same thing applies, this is your second warning, if you continue with this pattern of behavior, that becomes strike 3 aka Permanent ban or Account deletion.

League is not a chat room for you to vent, chit chat or banter. Focus on constructive, less aggressive and brief chat. Avoid harassment, whining or abuse towards your team mates.

Riots automated system catches you for your words, not others. Watch what you type cause it doesn;t care how or why you typed it.

Look how pathetic this community is. I'm being downvoted by someone who can't even read properly. I have yet to receive a 25 game chat restriction. I haven't been afking/intentionally feeding/leaving/boosting any other ban worthy act. I did not verbally abuse anyone in this game. You are literally banning my account for no reason.

I also asked for a name change because I get flamed every game due to my name and I guarantee I get reported every game by someone regardless of always typing /ignore all every game and not talking in a majority of my games. Riot of course wouldn't give me one.

At this point there is nothing I can do to not get banned. I have lost way too many accounts to your rigged system while other players get to flame and harass and afk and continue playing without being punished.

Those logs look edited. And false reports for feeding don't count.
