can i get banned for afk in bot games?

i know how you nerds feel about afks in bot games, and for some reason a lot of you think it's a crime worthy of the death penalty, but i'm not actually afk.

i'm trying to quickly level my smurf, so i'm going into intermediate bot games and farming camps while my team carries me. it's bots, they don't need my help. if they're new, i step in and help, but for most games i just tab out and play tomb raider, and come back and farm a camp every couple minutes, get drag when it's up, whatever.

can i get my smurf banned for this kind of thing? it's only bots so i would hope the system is a little more forgiving, but i just got 5 games of low priority queue because i forgot i was in a game lol.

if any of you know more about how the afk detection system works please let me know, i don't afk in normal games so i've never gotten lpq or anything. and please downvote this post, i will be downvoting as well.

That is terrible sportsmanship and definitely banable, although it'd take you a while to get caught unless there are good reporters in your games. Why not just be a goddamn adult and work for your wins?

Leaverbuster tracks allot of forms of afking. This includes just standing around in base doing nothing and only moving occasionally to avoid getting auto-booted from the game. Basically if you're not actively participating in the game then you can get hit by Leaverbuster. Also, it doesn't matter what mode it is since the rules apply to all game modes (though for LB specifically it only effects the modes that you actually have to queue up for, including co-op vs. ai).

What does all of this mean exactly? It means that you can get banned for afking in co-op vs. ai, and since lower level accounts are judged more harshly than higher level accounts are (to make sure that people aren't trying to circumvent their punishments by playing on a smurf account instead), your smurf would get banned faster than your max level account would be.

From the LeaverBuster FAQ:

Q: Can I get a leave for quitting a co-op vs AI game? A: Yes. You are also abandoning your fellow players there.

P.S. Starting your post with sentences like these:

i know how you nerds feel about afks in bot games, and for some reason a lot of you think it's a crime worthy of the death penalty, but i'm not actually afk.

Gives the impression that you're not actually here for a discussion: you just want Yesman answers instead.

Why not just pick a stomp champion and end the game ASAP? It'll be faster. This ain't runescape, after all.
