The Ban System is about as Bipolar as the community.

There's an in-game filter for bad language. Why have a permanent ban for bad words when there's a language filter for the young-in's to use so they don't have to see bad words. There's so many other toxic players that roam free ruining games by afking, feeding, 3rd party software/bots, and so on. But you say 1 bad word and you get a free ban? How pointless is a language filter when most of the community are adults that hear and see terrible words everyday? 2 bans? 2? 2? Really the system needs a rehaul and instead of just playing games 24/7 in your offices you should improve a faulty system. How about just remove the language filter since there's no use for it? Would rather be muted permanently, screw the chat restrictions. And the community makes it worse. You say something wrong and of course they'll attack/mass report for it to get someone banned, just as toxic. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

Bans/Mutes should be more time-based and not the joke that's already in place. Also why ban someone and their account's progress permanently over 1-2 bad games that they shouldn't have even said anything in? Support is no help, why have an option to discuss your ban when you can't even discuss it and they'll want to close the ticket instead of a DISCUSSION. There's so many ways to work the system, but it seems $$$ is more on the minds of riot instead of fixing a broken process.

the existence of something to prevent it isnt an excuse to start something in the first place. I.E, a firehouse outside my apartment doesnt suddenly excuse arson.

AFK'ing is an entirely different offense. if it was intentional, then its an inting ban, else its just leaver buster, because banning someone for there PC fking up is just flat out wrong.

intentional feeding, if proven, is instant 14 day, but no bot can reliably detect afk farming, so it needs manual review.

3rd party takes the longest, simply because they ban in waves, this is done to stop scripters from making harder to detect scripts by finding the common factors.

But you say 1 bad word and you get a free ban?

if it was hate speech, yes thats completely justified, else you used more then just one or have a history of doing such.

they tried infinitely scaling restrictions, the vast majority of people who were perma muted just decided to run it down.

If you’ve gotten two perma bans for toxicity, don’t you think that maybe it’s your attitude that needs the overhaul? Most people who play league never even get a chat restriction.

Here's a better question.

Why did you agree to these Terms then? You could have said no and find some other game that is more suitable for your lack of self-control and certain moral standards. You aren't pressured here.

What is your purpose here if it isn't to play the game? You were banned because you went against the agreement you had with Riot Games. Regardless if you did or did not read it, you agreed to them and regardless if you agree with them personally or not, you were to abide by them.

You can say all the bad fucking words you want. What you'll get banned for is being a toxic fuckwit over and over and over again.

They're not here to make you feel better, and they're not going to reverse a valid punishment.

fixing a broken process

Every fucking time someone (generally someone who has been punished, such as yourself) brings this up, the "fix" is to stop banning people, specifically the person saying it, because it Wasn't Their Fault™, and they were Just Defending Themselves™, and What About The Inters'n'Feeders'n'Trolls™.

Want to know how to rework the system in your favor? Follow the goddamn rules, take responsibility for yourself, and try to have fun with a video game.

The use of hate speech or threats is not up for debate, not in the game and definitely not on the forums. This is their policy; accept that and don't use those terms in the future.

Riot Player Behavior Support is there to review punishments and explain what rule was broken. It's not their job nor their priority to discuss why that's their policy.
